1. Don't hide behind your god, it's too late for that. You started this thread with your cavalier attitude, 'look at me talking about a TV show and casually mentioning how much I hate a group of people for who they love' as if everyone here should be fine with that. Now you want to blame it on your god? No, that hatred is yours, now you damn well step up and own it.

The best 'holy book' that lame excuse for a prophet could come up with is little more in many places than a pathetic rewrite of Bible stories with characters in the wrong roles because he was too stupid and too high to bother remembering things like Mary was not the mother of Moses. It's not even a good read; 4th rate literature at best. The Golden Age of the Arabs, when they were at the top of the world in science, medicine, architecture, literature, philosophy, and art, was *in spite of* Islam, not remotely because of it.
Just what exactly could you possibly think qualifies your god to be lord of anything? He wants respect, guess what? This is NOT the way to earn it. He better slink back into a cave until he learns to be worthy of it, and to teach his followers to be worthy of it.
I try to be diplomatic and respectful of people's feelings as a rule, but I expect at least a modicum of courtesy in return and in this case, you crossed the line. *NO ONE* gets to spew unthinking hatred at my child - especially for no reason except who she is - and not feel the lash of my tongue at the very least.
Beyond that, homosexuals as a group have taken far more than their share of garbage from people like you, and I for one won't tolerate it. Enough is freaking ENOUGH.

You say your hatred is peaceful. So if a gay couple were fleeing a mob trying to kill them and ran past you and ducked down an alley in attempt to evade their pursuers, you wouldn't join the mob but you would point out which way the couple ran.
Attitudes like yours enable more actively violent ones.
I think Eastern religions can often get romaniticized and idealized by Westerners. In reality, they're just as messy and morally conflicted as other religions.

Imagine someone burgles your house. He takes all your valuables, all your memories. Imagine that the police find out who the guy is. But they also find out that he has a five year old daughter in hospital with a rare (and potentially fatal) medical condition whose treatments he can't afford because he lost his job (couldn't care for his daughter and do his job at the same time). People should be able to give their opinion, we are not living under sharia law.
My first choice would be that people be good to other people based on good motives. My second choice would be that people be good to other people hypocritically. Your option is less desirable than the other two.
