In case I was not clear: I see no logical point whatsoever in the claims that Trinitarianism and Henotheism are "idolatry".Because there was no logical point to comment on. It was all entirely arbitrary, even unbelievable.
Did you assume otherwise? I am sorry for not having been more incisive then.
And the proof for your statements is where?
:/ That's a computer generated image, no doubt hosted on a Christian website.Only the idol of Ibrahim - or biblical Abraham - remains.
Well again then, you were unwilling to define what God is, and to examine the Doctrine of the Trinity to see if it was Monotheistic in nature. In case I was not clear: I see no logical point whatsoever in the claims that Trinitarianism and Henotheism are "idolatry".
I doubt sincerity when no evidence outside of computer generated modelling is presented, yes.So you just get to doubt any criticism arbitrarily, as well as decide on the validity of other people's conceptions of deity just as arbitrarily?
Some claim to being a religion...

Again, where is your evidence?

Indeed. I take it on the word of the Trinitarians that they do, in fact, believe their god to be both one and triple at once.Well again then, you were unwilling to define what God is, and to examine the Doctrine of the Trinity to see if it was Monotheistic in nature.
Then you are unworthy of my consideration, by your own choice.I doubt sincerity when no evidence outside of computer generated modelling is presented, yes.
I don't think most Muslims ''idolize'' those things, I think they're just symbolic of their faith, much like Catholics ''venerate'' the cross, etc...
But, since I'm leaning towards atheism, I don't honestly care. I think religion is an idol in and of itself.
I sort of side with @Quintessence in this matter. No one considers himself to be an idolater. The concept is invariably either a misunderstanding or an invasive judgement of other people's practices.

Why would I not? If there are keyrings that manage that small feat, why wouldn't someone's deity pull the same trick?
Besides, it is not mine to define anyone else's God. If they define their god in some specific way, then that is how it is. I do not have either right nor reason to correct them, although I may feel compelled to criticize both, perhaps out of their minds even.
It is not for anyone to decide how anyone else should conceive their deities, as a matter of fact. It is about as personal a matter as they come.
As it turns out, I am rather liberal with mine as well. I would not even have such a concept had I not been raised in a theistic society.
It is just not something that I find it proper to lend much importance to. Quite on the contrary really.
Originally i was implicating muslim idolatry in worship of Allah who has a human like face.
People can claim what they want, but they happen to old the Torah to be true within their Bible, and Torah Scholars say Trinity is 100% Idolatry, a position that has never changed since the 3rd Century:
Maimonides says in three distinct places that the Christians are idol worshippers.
1. In his interpretation of the Mishna, tractate Avoda Zara 1:3, he writes: “Know that this Chriatian nation, who are making the claim of a messiah, with all their many different sects, are all idol worshippers and all their holidays are forbidden, and we deal with them regarding religious issues as we would pagans.”
And he adds (AZ 4): “Therefore one must know that in every one of the Christian nation’s cities which has an altar, meaning their house of worship, it is a pagan house of idolatry without any doubt.”
2. In the uncensored version of Hayad Hachazaka (Hilchot Avoda Zara 9:4), Maimonides issues the edict: “The Christians are idol worshipers and Sunday is their religious holiday, therefore in Eretz Israel we may not trade with them on Thursday and Friday of every week, and needless to say on Sunday, which is forbidden [for trade with Christians] everywhere.” Trade in this context refers especially to paying back loans, which would enhance their joy on the day of their idol.
3. Also in Hayad Hachazaka, the laws of forbidden foods, the uncensored version (Hilchot Maachalot Asurot 11:7): “The Christians are idol worshippers and their regular wine if forbidden to be consumed” by Jews since it is likely to be used as libation in their pagan service.
The most respected Rabbi of recent memory, Rabbi Ovadia Yosef also confirmed Christianity is Idolatry:
Installing Air Conditioners in a Church
Similarly, Maran Shlit”a was asked about an individual whose profession was installing air conditioning units who had just signed a large contract to install hundreds of air conditioners. Included in the deal was installing air conditioners in a Christian church. He inquired whether he may continue his work or must he cancel the deal and as a result lose a large amount of money which he would need to pay for penalties incurred. Maran Harav Shlit”a answered that he may continue with his work on the condition that he himself would not enter the church; rather, his non-Jewish workers would have to install the air conditioners there. Maran Shlit”a added that he himself should not instruct the non-Jews to enter the church; rather, he should tell another non-Jew to hire him some non-Jewish workers and install the air conditioners.
Idolatry is no small matter when considering the Trinity.
I would assume the creator of existence itself to have as many faces as anyone can conceive.Koran says that God has a face.
Considering religions are man made, it's not surprising that the tenets of these religions change depending on who you talk to. Not sure it's idolatry as much as it's just inventions of the mind in order to process what a god could be like.
