If science is so great why hasn't it solved all of humanitys problems ?

Hence I was amazed you asked here:
"If a god exists why hasn't it solved all humanities problems?"

This doesn't answer nor explain why you assume that God needs to solve "the mess humans have made". The question makes no sense to me

So, please explain
The question is why would an all knowing creator god create something it knew would be bad not only to theirselves but to everything else it created?

Okay, so, you are aware that you changed the original question, right? As I copy/pasted your original question

I do my best to answer your questions seriously, but if you shift the goal post, I think people call it on RF, then I stop answering

So, if you agree that what I said was true, and your original question was flawed, then I will be happy to try to answer your second question above

While mankind is in more ways than one killing itself, science isn't going to stop people from polluting the earth and its components. Science isn't going to bring back all those who have been killed in war or otherwise.
Science doesn't claim to do any of those things. I should point out that religion can't do any of them either.
Science gives us the tools to make things better, it is up to humans to decide whether to adopt those tools, too often we choose not to.

You gave a cop out answer of "its our job"

Being its our job, why waste time praying to a god about problems when its our job?

So I'm gonna tell you a couple situations so you get a grip on exactly how you might be participating in your own doom
I'm so sick and tired of atheist secular scientism it's just another religion.

Nature wants to go one way in ever respect. It's universal. From the way it went from cosmic goop to planetoids, suns, moons and comets all together at once. It changes, selectively and for the better. All your suffering is actually fertilizing goodness. Wastes is what Nature feeds off of. Poop of all kinds is food in the fertility cycle. Even oxygen for our purposes is poop. More specifically breath but it is waste.

For a long time various cultures opposed themselves to this due to a flaw in their reasoning: pleasure does not make a good life but what they DON'T realize to their DETRIMENT is that a life without pleasure is just as bad. Only through hacking the mind do they make their lives liveable. Their livability of life has no substance and it jades them. Then they get bad stuff and hell wrong. The chemical afterlife DOES have a hell. The psychedelic cocktail given to everything at death that can produce it makes the mind hyper aware and the soul, it's consciousness and memories amd beliefs and everything going into the mind lives for 10 minutes after death. Because it is hyper aware it realizes all your faults and if they are too many you don't have as good of a remaining time. That's what they get right. What they get wrong is they take the jadedness that they experience from lack of pleasure and contort the love of the goddess, that which was mentioned before. Basically yhe goddess was ad infinitum throughout reality but men control our society and men abide by their flaws so they can't see. I wonder if you're part of that category.

Second but honestly first there are the people that realize nature should go one way while diversifying that way to handle her complexity. The ones who seek pleasure. They, though less and less with time as all bad thing are, also are blind to this assumption. But prior to Monotheism, when the goddess (the specifically not monotheism/abrahamism/zoroastrianism) reigned every place on earth everyone knew pleasure was good and that too much good could be bad. Everyone knew, it was understood even prior to our ancestors, prior to their ancestors and their ancestors because what this is all based around, these goddess religions, is psychedelic experience which does infact reveal what you mistakenly call god and what is understood best as goddess.

Basically some people are natural, some people are afraid of God, the fiction. Most people understand God is a fiction they just do jot understand that the goddess is not.

A question might be, does God, who I believe is all-powerful, have to know everything in advance if He gives people freedom of choice?

You say science gives us the tools to make things better...but do all scientists engage in professions that make things better? And do that?

Science: most species seem to get along fine without it, and they would all be better off without ours.

Fine, try it. Give up everything science and technology has given us and set out into the wilderness. Remember, no clothes, no weapons to defend yourself (not even a pointed stick, once some primitive scientist discovered that sharpening a stick made it a better defense against predators than a blunt stick). You can't build a shelter, that's technology. No fire to cook any meat or plants you might manage to acquire. Just whatever you can do with your unaided body, teeth and nails. If you get lost don't navigate by the sun or stars, that's science.

Come back in a couple of days and let us know how you get on. Or not.
