I'm So Old.....

Im so old I learned to type on a typewriter. And we still had alot of vinyl records. And 8tracks. And VHS. And no internet. And hardly anyone had a cellphone. And most people still didn't yet have a computer. And I first learned geography with a map that had Czechoslovakia on it (I remember the effort I put into trying to figure out the Czecho part). And I had some crayola crayons that were retired about midish childhood (if I remember the years correctly).
And I'm so old my knee cracked in an office type building once and it sounded and echoed kind like you would expect a tiny, miniaturized gun to sound like with a nasty "CRACK!"
Oh! And Im so old that anyone more than a couple years younger than me was likely tethered to a cell phone while in high school, meaning I'm old enough to disappear while in highschool and worry about a story for where I was after I got back home and was walking inside.:D

The internet is full of "I'm so old" suggestions. I'm so old that I remember when we looked up facts in dictionaries and encyclopedias and trusted the result.

Anyone remember Jet Jackson? That was the first TV show I ever saw on a neighbors home made TV, when no one else had one....

I'm so old that I had a party line when I grew up.

And you had to stand up to use the telephone because the cord wasn't long enough to reach a chair.
I'm so old I fought with the cords on phones and untangling them and unwinding them from everything, only to mummify a chair in the process.
Amd Im so old (more of a just old enough) I got the shock when I moved out of my parents that I wont be getting a landline, thay 8nstead I'll be getting a cellphone because it was cheaper.
But I am so old I had Atari and NES amd lots of beeps and doots for sounds and music in my childhood. I think those are called sticks now.
