What is it you perceive as my “trying to win”?
Same reasons.

This thread is in a debate forum, but the best
way to debate is to understand the other,
find common ground, & reason from there.
You skipped the common ground part.
The other problem is that I'm not debating.
But it's still about N Ameristanian politics.

My, you are certainly full of self contradictions!

I’m sorry you are unable to perceive logical incongruities much less apply them to self reflection.

I will waste no more time.

My pragmatism doesn't have such a short-sighted goal as the next election. If I vote for the lesser evil, I will be stuck with evil all my life. By voting third party, there is a chance that the two party system will be overcome one day.
Depending on where you live, and done consistently, that my be a viable option with little consequences.

In a presidential election in Michigan between Trump and Biden……not so much.

I live in Michigan as well. And sorry, I don't care what the circumstances are.
I will vote for Biden, as I see him as being the lesser of two evils.
Regardless of policies or what you believe, Biden isn't looking to be a relentless,
vengeful, fascist dictator like Trump wants to be. Honestly? I'm quite surprised
that after he lost the election that there hasn't been random terror attacks from
cult MAGA supporters. I really honestly expected this. If he loses again, there may
just be. I'm glad Ron DeSantis is out of the race, although we knew he wasn't
going to win the GOP nomination anyways regardless.
I would consider voting either for some independent party, if not democrat.
Personally, I would like to see Whitmer run, as I think she would do a great job.
Much better than Biden probably would. That said, it probably won't happen.
