I assume that people will discover that god is just not that interested in the mostly petty affairs of mankind. we would probably discover a force, a stream of intelligence which sustains everything. but a force which doesn't push or intervene with those unwilling to fight, to move.john lennon was on to something. but lets take this idea one step further
(if that's possible...)
lets say science found unquestionable evidence for god somehow...what would happen then?
would god all of a sudden appear to humanity and tell us how we are to serve him, if that is what would be required?
or, if at that point after the discovery god still remains the way god is now, what do you think would happen? do you think humanity would unite or become even more divided than we are now?
what do you think?
Personally. I also think that the great revelation will probably go unnoticed by the majority of people around the world. and will be debated by scientists, theologians, and other men of the academy, for authenticity, implications, relevancy. and other issues.
The world as we know it. will stay unmoved and much the same.

As we cross over....
the petty and infantile discussion is left ....in the dust.
Not to say that childlike innocence is ....discarded.
And you might consider...your linear existence insures the development of an ego....an individual.
But not all can enter heaven.
Heaven is a place of peace.....peace first.

I suppose you could see Him as an adversary.
If heaven is a place of peace....won't that peace be enforced?

Alright in theory, let's say that humans had influence on this new found God. Let's say that humans were able to persaude this God to create more natural resources and fixed all the ecological problems. But then who decided which country gets what natural resources? And thus thats where the wars come in.
