Please stop calling it buddhism, you have no understanding of what buddhism is. Forgiveness love and kindness and compassion is what buddhism is founded on, and you gain that from understanding the 4 noble truths and following the 8 folded path, something you clearly do not doIn Existential Buddhism, we never forgive: we take revenge.
So people should hate each other if we disagree? because that is actually what you stated when you saidI only know the truth of how we should live as human beings.
That is the way of the world. No need to go against Mother Nature. So people should hate each other if we disagree? because that is actually what you stated when you said
"In Existential Buddhism, we never forgive: we take revenge."
I am speechless. That is the way of the world. No need to go against Mother Nature.
So Mother nature is evil, hateful and has nothing to do with give compassion toward others? That is the way of the world. No need to go against Mother Nature.
One should be compassionate towards the innocent who are ignorant and down trodden because we need to live in a society that functions for all citizens. One should always resist evil and not cooperate with it in any way. Mother Nature comprises of three gunas: sattvic, rajasic and tamasic. These need to be understood in Existential Buddhism so that we have the right thoughts and actions. So Mother nature is evil, hateful and has nothing to do with give compassion toward others?
if you want to promote buddhism why do you use teaching from hinduism? what you do is call it buddhism but commenting on hindu teaching? One should be compassionate towards the innocent who are ignorant and down trodden because we need to live in a society that functions for all citizens. That's Hinduism, not Buddhism. They are not the same. Even the Ancient Greeks had no difficulty distinguishing between the Brahmins and the Shramana--the difference is that obvious. One should be compassionate towards the innocent who are ignorant and down trodden because we need to live in a society that functions for all citizens. Have you ever read the buddhist teachings at all?One should be compassionate towards the innocent who are ignorant and down trodden because we need to live in a society that functions for all citizens. I have only read what you provided me with.Have you ever read the buddhist teachings at all?
So from what i given you of pdf files, and what i write here, you based your belief that you could start a new form of buddhism?I have only read what you provided me with.
Fair enough: I stand corrected and have changed my Profile name back to Existential Hindu by popular demand. That's Hinduism, not Buddhism. They are not the same. Even the Ancient Greeks had no difficulty distinguishing between the Brahmins and the Shramana--the difference is that obvious.
Your protests have convinced me that I must not start a new sect of Buddhism called Existential Buddhism because of our very strong disagreements on what constitutes Buddhism. I have also listened to @crossfire and on his insistence changed my profile religion to Existential Hindu: are you satisfied with that?So from what i given you of pdf files, and what i write here, you based your belief that you could start a new form of buddhism?
By the way, what i write here in the forum is my own understanding of buddhas teachings, I have still many things i do not understand fully, and some of what i write i see later was incorrect. because i learn more and more every day, my knowledge is getting higher and then i can see my own fault from past. to gain a true understading of a religious path, one must study the true teaching every day for years, and you would not be able to start a new form of buddhism before you did attain full enlightenment from the teachings of the buddha
Yes.Your protests have convinced me that I must not start a new sect of Buddhism called Existential Buddhism because of our very strong disagreements on what constitutes Buddhism. I still respect the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path but we have different interpretations of what is dharma in our distinct paths.Yes.
Yes we see buddha dharma differently, and in my understanding the reason is, to understand the dharma one must study it deeply and live by it every day. According to what you said you have not read the buddhist suttas, and there by in my understanding would not know what buddhism actually do teach.I still respect the 4 Noble Truths and the Eightfold Path but we have different interpretations of what is dharma in our distinct paths.
I am a Hindu by tradition and experience. I have read a great deal of Hindu scriptures too. I especially follow the teachings of the Mahabharatta and Ramayana and go a lot by what is contained in the Bhagavad Gita. I also follow the Mundaka Upanishad where the shloka Satyamev Jayate comes from. Peace through justice is my motto for this reason. I do not believe in love and compassion despite the ills that we suffer. I fight. Can i ask, Have you read Hindu scripture many times? or are you hindu by tradition?

Yes I forgive people. That is why I do not press for justice anymore than is necessary through the consideration of truth accommodation (satya-advaita). That is why I have a great deal in common with Buddhists: the right thoughts and justifications for ones actions. I am not attached to anything, not even dharma or God. The Gita says: do your duty but do not look out for the results of that karma. I believe in that whether or not those words come from God Himself.Do you forgive people?
