Is Harvard waging war on Christianity - liberalism run amuck?

The silly part of this is that the school simply did exactly what the religious group did. The group kicks someone out because they didn't fit in the organization, and the school kicked the organization out for the same. The only real difference is that the one is being bigoted while the other is simply doing the right thing.

Story doesn't make sense. And when we analyze the Faux news story, the context comes to light. Don't get fooled by the religion card. RW media is very good at getting their base all hot and bothered.

Religious views are allowed on campus but for some reason you think freedom of religion should give privilege to break the law. It doesn't and shouldn't.

Actually, religious expression is constitutionally protected as is free association.
Now as to a Christian group requiring officers to follow Jesus teaching, it's laughable to say that is against the law

First if Jesus himself was murdering puppies it still doesn't make it legal even in a country free to practice religion.

Second, which stories show Jesus being bigoted even toward sinners?

Happily, Jesus is not murdering puppies

You are equivocating treating sinners and who may be a leader in a Christian church or group because in the case at hand it was not a membership issue but who could be a leader. Can someone who doesn't follow Jesus be a Christian leader? Can a Hindu be president of the Harvard Jewish group and if they don't like it kick them out? Must the Harvard Islamic society allow atheists to be leaders? Nonesense.

He wanst refusing to share fish with sinners either. He was also very much not bigoted and i will happily note that Christianity says to follow the laws of the land.

The laws of the land most certainly do not require a church to not rule out an atheist as pastor
or maybe Harvard law school disagrees?

Religions are allowed to discriminate in churches, maybe even private institutions but not public instituions far as I know. Employers for example are not allowed to discrimate for someone being atheist. Texas law actually requires theism for politicians but they are definately something else cause that isnt constitutional.

So are you saying this forum discriminates and is breaking the law because some areas you have to hold a partituclar world view to post in? Or is that just reasonable free association?

Uh scratching my head here but where did all this weird talk about an Atheist being a preacher head of Christian institute come from? Weird I watched the video it said nothing about an Atheist ,a re you insinuating all same sex folks are Atheists? She was rejected because she was in a same sex relationship.

I don't have a clear understanding of the rules here, so its hard for me to have a clear judgement about it. I don't believe any Christian group should be able to kick out a member because of their sexual orientation. But I don't know what the law says about so i wont pretend to have an opinion.

Its strange weird freaky bazzarrow that so many Christians are so upset about this and why shouldn't they be?

Oh Trumps affairs hahahaha all rich men who are politicians have prostitutes strippers porno stars having acts o sexual sin and destroying their marriages with adultery who cares that means nothing that's nothing.

President trump has 4 hundred sexual harrassement court cases against him who cares they are all evil just because Trump is evil personified why should we care all politicians are............ You conservative Trump supporters have no issues with a man politician man having tons and tons of sexual sins including harrassement and involvement with prostitutes and porno stars and you have an issue with this?OMG.

Harvard is a private institution and has no obligation to fund student groups that disagree with its own non-discrimination policies.

Many things are legal but it doesn't make them moral.
Harvard's charter was to serve the church and it's stamped on their diplomas.

Harvard is effectively saying if you don't agree with a religious view you still have to be allowed to be an officer leader of a club for that religious view.

Even this board has sections you can't post in if you don't ascribe to the views of that section. Harvard is saying that's inappropriately discriminatory and they would be wrong
