First you'd have to convince me that Christianity is indeed true
I'll let C. S. Lewis, a Christian who wrote things I can agree with, reply:
There are only two kinds of people in the end: those who say to God, "Thy will be done," and those to whom God says, in the end, "Thy will be done." All that are in Hell, choose it. Without that self-choice there could be no Hell. No soul that seriously and constantly desires joy will ever miss it. Those who seek find. Those who knock it is opened.”
(and)
“Hell is a state of mind - ye never said a truer word. And every state of mind, left to itself, every shutting up of the creature within the dungeon of its own mind - is, in the end, Hell.
― C.S. Lewis, The Great Divorce
Cancer in children or any other degenerative disease proves that the Bible is correct when it states that the fall of humanity into sin negatively impacted all of creation. Everything is in a degenerate condition in need of salvation.Look up No True Scotsman. That's what you are using, here.
You ignore something like 80% of what the bible says, in order to build a false narrative of your god being "good".
I can prove in one phrase, your god (if it exists) is not good: Cancer in Children.
.
DO YOU THINK THAT SPENDING AN ETERNITY SUFFERING IN HELL FOR A MISTAKE MADE ON EARTH IS FAIR?

Ah yes, Pascal's wager. And you think your omniscient god couldn't see through that? Here's something for you guys to think about: Where does it say that the God who rules the universe has to be someone you approve of? What if the God who rules just happens to be someone who throws unbelievers into Hell for all eternity? What are you going to do? WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO, continue to be a non-believer and wind up in Hell? Really?
Still can't answer my question can you. My sneaking suspicion is that you do think hell is unfair, but are afraid if god hears you admit it you'll end up in his hell. Kind of has you by the short hairs doesn't he.Every once in a while I hear the bravado of an unbeliever belching out, "I'd rather spend eternity in Hell than with those evil believers." That's incredibly dumb and naive. After just five minutes in Hell the stiff-necked crowd will be wailing and trying everything they can to get out of the fire. It's not going to be a party down there. According to at least one source who was supernaturally allowed to view Hell, it's devastating, incredibly painful. You'll have your own pit of fire and no one ever to talk to. And there will be the demons of Hell breaking your bones and the stench of hot sulfur will leave you gasping for breath. And then, it will dawn on you that all hope of ever getting out is lost, and you're in for the first painful century of untold eons of time.

Until you can convince us that such a god exists why should we care what is said of him, other than to use him as an object of debate of course?

You reckon? You might be in for a shock one day if a god exists and doesn't like the way you bring Christianity into disrepute as you do on this forum. It doesn't matter whether I believe an eternal Hell exists or not. I'm not the one going there (John 5:24).
How can you be sure? Are you positive you've dotted all your "I"s and crossed all your "T"s, and will continue to do so?It doesn't matter whether I believe an eternal Hell exists or not. I'm not the one going there (John 5:24).

So sure you are. So full of pride you have. Is not pride and self-certainty a sin?
Oh! My! You are so going to hell as a result of that...
No it's actually a demonstration on how nature works.Cancer in children or any other degenerative disease proves that the Bible is correct when it states that the fall of humanity into sin negatively impacted all of creation. Everything is in a degenerate condition in need of salvation.
Go tell your follies to your tuna-breath, hairball cat.

Definitely hell for YOU. LOL!
“I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.”
― Mahatma Gandhi.
I am glad you still remember your Bible Bob.Just going by his posts of both pride of self, and hate for others? Not a chance.
No, because Gandhi will be fine because he said “I like your Christ."Gandhi is probably going to be in big trouble at the Judgment for rejecting Christ as his Savior (John 3:36; Rev. 21:8, etc.).

Yet. Ghandi was far closer to the Christian Life that Jesus set an example for, than (at a guess) 90% of modern day self-styled "christians".
Ironic, much?
According to your own bible? You are still headed for hell, though-- that sin of pride.
