What does hedonism have to do with modesty?

A puritan hangover that seeking pleasure isn't a proper or moral thing to do. We still see it today such as in the Boomer generation's attitude of work being life or how many people feel guilty for spending money on themselves.

Yes. I'm horrified by it. And it's getting worse and worse.
