an us and them mentality doesn't only relate to nationalism Abibi, anything that separates the human race into categories is able to do this including religion.

I am not detracting from all forms of nationalism, simply once a form permeates through the nation that justifies any and all actions of the state and is supported by media propaganda. When nationalism evolves to a degree of self righteous aggression, something that I see in the U.S today, then it is always bad.

i.e we vanguards of democracy contrasted with those terrorists.
