Is The Political Future Of Elizabeth Warren Over?

Seems that Warren conveniently forgot that she listed her race as "American Indian" on registration card for the State Bar of Texas.
Then she said she was a Cherokee.
Then attempts to prove she was a Cherokee with a DNA test that backfired.
Then the Cherokee Nation says blood does not make you a Cherokee.
Then she starts her apology tour.
So with these missteps has Warren torpedoed her political future?

I don't know, there maybe as many staunch supporters of her as Trump.

However, I suspect the Democratic nominee will end up being Kamala Harris.

Unless something drastic happen to her I suspect it will be her and Trump.

She is a blatant liar, in a party where people¨ identify¨ as the opposite sex, or artichokes, and bemoans the execution of a murderous troglodyte but celebrates the murder of unborn babies, she should do well.

Harris? Hopefully Biden swoops in and shows everyone what real substance is.

Maybe, but I have a feeling the Democratic party is done with old White men for a while.

Feel free to make fun of me though when I'm proven wrong.

Wow.
Yes. You’ve seen through the Democratic ruse. This veneer of human form. We are demon-spawn, and we are coming for the blood of the innocent. - The Demoncratic Party.

In other news, back in the real world.
Senator Elizabeth Warren is clearly a very intelligent woman with strong working knowledge of economic policy. She has also shown the will and backbone to stand up to big money organizations.
The DNA test was in direct reponse to Trump’s July 5th 2018 challenge to her to get a DNA test to prove that she has Native American heritage. And if she did, then he promised to pay a charity of her choice One Million Dollars.
She has Native American heritage. Trump wussed out. Period.

Now then, does this economic intellectual have the down and dirty grit to claw through lakes of burning diarrhea spewed from right wingers in order to make it to the White House? I don’t know.

Let’s get lots of contenders in there, and let them weed each other out through the primaries.

If Trump's multiple scandals are the new level of acceptable conduct, then I don't think Warren's ancestry or claimed ancestry is an issue. Gosh it would be nice if Trumpettes had some vague understanding of and desire to discuss issues and policies, rather than this constant "zomg! he didn't wear a flag lapel pin" nonsense.

Frankly, given that their annointed one has affairs with porn stars within days of his wife giving birth, then pays her hush money, you'd think they'd be keen to avoid opening the "personal questionable acts" can of worms.

You & I remember a different election.
While Hillary was "anointed" by her party for the
presidency, Trump was opposed by his own party.

I would have voted for her in the last election, but not now. However, I feel this will not hurt her to much.

Warren did nothing illegal or unethical or unscientific by listing her race as Native American on the Texas State Bar form. She said that she had grown up instilled with the idea that she was of Native American ancestry. That understanding qualifies as a designation of race.

In the movie “The Jerk” Steve Martin’s character was raised as a poor black child. Did that make him one?

I haven't seen that movie. My comment concerned Elizabeth Warren. Again, she did nothing illegal, unethical or unscientific by listing her race as Native American.

I though many on your side of the political spectrum was against cultural appropriation? Appears not, either that or it only applies to those that you disagree with.

Seems maybe what yoi think about the other side of the political spectrum is disconnected with reality.

That tends to happen. One side assumes the other is this or that. Really they have just bought bought into the propaganda, hook, line and sinker.

The question is: can you take this as a learning moment to break free? Or, will you ignore the signs to continue down the path constructed for you?

Depends on reality doesn't it. I know what I believe in and I know that my reality has been formulated over almost 77 years of a varied life of experiences.
If you find my opinions objectionable then so be it.
I don't plan to change so either accept it or not; I really don't care.

So with these missteps has Warren torpedoed her political future?
I think so, at least as far as getting the Dem nomination for pres is concerned. She made her bed and now has to lie in it, but much the same should be made in regards to Trump and some others on both sides of the aisle as well.
