Is Vegetarian for you?

Veggie meat is gross and I don’t think I could handle a diet of tofu, lentils, beans, vegetables, seeds, and nuts on top of the grains I currently eat.
My daughter went vegetarian by the end of high school, and has never looked back. I can vouch that those times round at her place she's made the lunch or dinner, it's been delicious.

None of this rubbed off on the rest of the tribe, but that's not the point,

It's also true that as I fail to grow younger, I seem to eat less meat anyway, though I have no prejudice against it.

For anyone interested, here's a chart of the various kinds of vegan/vegetarian/semi-vegetarian diets.

My diet is currently lacto-ovo vegetarian.

I'm working on making it so. I wasn't born hardwired to have a specific diet, so I believe I can make vegetarianism "for me" (i.e., become accustomed to it) over time.
I have coeliac disease, basically, if I eat anything containing even a tiny amount of gluten, my immune system goes berserk, and mistakes the gluten particles clinging to the walls of my guts for a pathogen, and of course attempts to destroy it with antigens and enzymes. This attacks the lining of my intestines and literally dissolves them.

So, a vegetarian diet, is not a realistic option for me. As most veggie products on the market, contain gluten, either in wheat or rye or barley and a number of other cereals.

It's a shame. As I would switch to vegetarianism. I only like beef and fish anyway. I don't like chicken or pork or lamb, and never eat them.

Admirals pie, basically fish pie with prawns (shrimp), and some other random shellfish. I love that. Delish.

That's what usually make, prawns, cod, smoked haddock, occasionally mussels and/or scallops, a white sauce and topped with mashed potatoes and a sprinkle of herbs de Provence

Always called it fish pie.
