Is Vegetarian for you?

Veggie meat is gross and I don’t think I could handle a diet of tofu, lentils, beans, vegetables, seeds, and nuts on top of the grains I currently eat.
if we stopped subsidizing meat producers, a pound of beef would probably cost $40. Would your meat consumption patterns change if that was the case?

I have coeliac disease, basically, if I eat anything containing even a tiny amount of gluten, my immune system goes berserk, and mistakes the gluten particles clinging to the walls of my guts for a pathogen, and of course attempts to destroy it with antigens and enzymes. This attacks the lining of my intestines and literally dissolves them.

So, a vegetarian diet, is not a realistic option for me. As most veggie products on the market, contain gluten, either in wheat or rye or barley and a number of other cereals.

It's a shame. As I would switch to vegetarianism. I only like beef and fish anyway. I don't like chicken or pork or lamb, and never eat them.

I'm gluten free and mostly vegetarian. I easily goes for days without eating meat or fish or poultry.

I'm a gluten free vegetarian. Not all that hard for me. I don't eat fake meats.

Lucky old you.
Got any advice for someone who dislikes dairy and eggs?
I hated eggs since I was a kid, and I grew up on a farm. The only way I could force them down was scramble wit a ton of ketchup on them to balance the yuck. I don't do dairy milk, but love my oat milk. We do a lot of veggies, dals (lentils) and a variety of rices. I think the secret really is spice. I buy dried basil a kg at a time on-line, but basics like chili flakes, turmeric, coriander, and good old salt and black pepper are also
'go to' s. We do a lot of adding to the very basics like potatoes and oatmeal. Oatmeal with berries and nuts can be awesome.

Depends if you switched to dolphin.
I especially didn't eat tuna because they drowned dolphins when fishing with nets. At that time at least. Today it's pretty save to eat tuna without being responsible for dead dolphins.
