Islam fights free speech

My answer is that a girl becomes a woman when she finishes puberty. There are also no verses that command against marrying a newborn baby either, but do you think that means it's okay to do such a thing?
Perhaps we should consider marrying a nine year olds daughter?

From the comments section -
"Oh the great Hitch. So sad to listen to him cough and realize it most likely had to do with the disease that took his life so young - He was just starting to fight this evilness. Truly missed and needed. Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a awesome person who is in front of the very needed reformation of islam. That is the future."

I was watching the video and agreed with him up until he said "there's a lot of Christianphobia right now because you can't even do anything if you're a Christian. And the attack on Christianity is unbelievable especially with this administration in the White House" then I started rolling my eyes because he's substituted his martyr complex from one faith to another. He's using one intolerant Middle Eastern monotheism to argue down another which is asinine.

No link?
Cause all I can find is a wiki article that starts off stating that the FIRST usage of the word was in July 1098:
Sequenti die aurora apparente, altis vocibus Baphometh invocaverunt; et nos Deum nostrum in cordibus nostris deprecantes, impetum facientes in eos, de muris civitatis omnes expulimus.

Doesn't look like french to me.....

Thanks for the feedback, but I guessed he was talking about situations like this

http://www.politifact.com/texas/art...k-obama-hasnt-said-radical-islamic-terrorism/

He was right about islamophobia, the truth being the first victim, Iran, mosques, the Koran and Muhammad.

This is a more passionate ex-Muslim

A thought provoking video

I thought the reply of @YmirGF was enough !

1- How much "condemns" suppose to satify anti-Muslims members as @icehorse ?
2-No.
3-No

Thank you for clearly answering.

Regarding #1, typically a condemnation is expected in each thread. You can't reasonably expect a person creating an OP to go back and look for a single post of yours in all the threads to date.

It is about time that Islamists realized that there is a genuine and justifiable fear of Islam. Therefore, it is not irrational.

So why would they think the present modern World is suffering from Islamophobia?

We need to ditch that word anyways. The word 'phobia' implies a mental disorder. But fear of Muslims is a rational fear based on Muslims' predilection to violence, their ties to terrorism, and their discrimination.

Where did you get that nonsense from?
I have given a list of books banned in certain countries.
My question is simply what is the reason for those books being banned?

Books are banned for a variety of reasons. As you've been told multiple times, we (in America) don't have an absolute freedom of speech. Any country can ban a book that doesn't meet their laws or societal norms.

The issue that you keep avoiding is that while all countries in the world ban certain types of material, only Islamic countries issue death sentences against the banned authors, attempt to assassinate them, or firebomb their publishing houses.

No,not in every with every person, depend the person (creator of thread),goal.

I mean:
For someone ignore about Islam maybe, for people used evil generalizing, consider anti-Muslims,double stand about freedom of speech....etc

I condemn his generalizing and his hypocrisy first , then I condemn to others what deserve to be condemned about OP.

Yes, I agree with that. You don't condemn unless you agree with the condemnation. However, you can't reasonably say that you agreed to the condemnation by referring back to a post in a completely different thread. If you want to condemn, then it should be done in the same thread in which you are currently posting.
