In the 1st century? Either way, it doesn't matter since Christ referred to God as Father and Muslims don't.Arabic did exist ofcourse, it was an oral language that's all.
Islam wants to establish a global theocratic empire. Those who leave the religion are subject to the death penalty. Saying negative things about Mohammad either earns you the death penalty, exile or lashing. Eating pork, drinking alcohol, sex outside of marriage, homosexuality, etc. are punished with the death penalty, exile or lashing. The devil does not ask to feed the poor, to help the orphans. To free the slaves, to abstain from alcohol, gambling, lies, hatred, foul language, greed, injustice etc.
Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world and is focused on spiritual matters, as opposed to material/worldly matters. A Christian really isn't supposed to care about being in the majority or having worldly power to rule over others with. It is primarily internal, much like Buddhism. Islam, however, is mostly concerned with worldly matters and even your afterlife Paradise is described in terms of worldly pleasure. Your idea of Hell is brutal, materialistic and Medieval. Islam is tribal and suppresses liberty in favor of groupthink. Your beloved prophet was a pedophile and a criminal warlord who only preached tolerance while in the minority but quickly changed his tune after amassing enough followers, after which he begin a rampage. To this day, non-Muslims are viewed as unclean and are still not allowed to step foot in Mecca, whereas all are welcome in churches. Everyone is free to visit Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant churches and holy sites.
As a Gnostic Christian, that is devilish to me. The aims of Christianity and the aims of Islam are entirely opposed to each other.
