not4me didn't certainly mean "judaism", she ment "zionism"...
Her sig is a star of David... the symbol of Judaism.
I don't know about others, but when I see the star of David, I think of Judaism. NOT Zionism.

Thats a huge difference..
Not, unfortunately, to many Muslims. Many view the terms interchangeably, I've learned here. I hope you are right. Perhaps not4me does not espouse the sig she displays.

However, if I say "Nazism < Sharia", "Nazism < Palestine" or anything like that, it's unacceptable to you. So why should Jews have to accept it? :( Do unto others as you would have them do unto you, and all that.

So tell me, EiNsTeiN, how does that differ from ...

islam_nazi.gif

... or shall we conclude that there is no difference, and that not4me was simply too ignorant to recognize that fact? I have mixed up nothing.

Yeah, u mixed things up...saying "Or drew a cartoon showing Muhammad as a terrorist ..." indicates that you "intentionally" related "islam" as a religion to terrorism..
While we (muslims) do differentiate between judaism and zionism..

At some point you will have to face the absurd way this nonsense makes the people who repeat this propaganda look like.
Do you differentiate between Sharia and Islam?

further more, does one differentiate the star of David from Judaism? no, just like one does not differentiate between a picture of Muhammad and Islam.

By Churchill's logic of the world it means our nations must be doing something right, to get this kind of juvenile adversity ;)

Of course I dont differentiate between sharia and islam...How is that similar to what I was saying?
Does that mean that in order to be a jew, you must be a zionist?

And please, show me a simbol for zionism so that we can use it next time instead of the star of David..

Let me tell you Caladan, we CAN'T oppose judaism, because thats against our "sharia"...While we can comfortably oppose zionism..

No one in the world differentiate between the star of David and Judaism. the Jews of Europe were forced to wear the star of David on their clothes because of their Jewishness.

Your getting there.
And please, show me a simbol for zionism so that we can use it next time instead of the star of David..
Sure, if you give me all the symbols of All Muslim nations, so if I ever want to take a graphic cheap shot at Sharia or dictatorships I can use them instead of a Muhammad cartoon.

How about the word 'Zionism'?

Or better yet, how about there is not a next time?
Maybe the lady in the picture thought that simbols work better than words..

Regarding the second question, I'd wish so, but as long as nothing changes, there will always be a next time..

Perhaps.

But protests won't solve anything. Britain still invaded Iraq when it was hugely unpopular. Over a million or more went to the streets supposedly. Protests don't seem to be effective any more. :thud:

Unless a solution is adopted besides "KILL THE JEWS" "DESTROY ISRAEL" etc, it will only create a cycle of violence and ignorance. Brainwashing children to hate the Jews, for one, will solve nothing.

See the videos I posted earlier. How can peace be expected with that?

Excellent!

By the way ...
Muslim countries

While antisemitism was less pronounced in Muslim countries, Jews were treated with contempt. This was expressed through sumptuary laws that established what colors, clothing or hats they were permitted or not permitted to wear. The use of distinctive clothing or marks for Jewish and other religious communities has been traced by historians to ancient times.[2] In the early Islamic period, non-Muslims were required to wear distinctive marks in public, such as metal seals fixed around their necks. Tattooing and branding of slaves and captives were widespread in the ancient world. However, Islam, like Judaism, forbids permanent skin markings. In consequence, lead or copper seals were used to mark non-Muslims and slaves in the Islamic world. [3] Likewise, they were not allowed to wear colors associated with Islam, particularly green. [4] The practice of physically branding Jews and Christians appears to have been begun in early medieval Baghdad and was considered highly degrading. [5] According to Bernard Lewis, Christians and Jews were forced to wear special emblems on their clothes. The yellow badge was first introduced by a caliph in Baghdad in the ninth century, and spread to the West in medieval times. Even in public baths, non-Muslims wore medallions suspended from cords around their necks so no one would mistake them for Muslims. Belts, headgear, shoes, armbands and/or cloth patches were also used. Under Shi'a rules, they were not even allowed to use the same baths [6] In 1005 the Jews of Egypt were ordered to wear bells on their garments.[7]
