I'm glad someone from staff weighed in here because some of the posts were at least on the edge of violating rule 1, calling someone a troll. As I read the rules, if you feel a post is a troll-type post, you should report it as a violation of rule 3.

There is no rule that I can find about hijacking a thread but that's also clearly what is going on here.

You know, I always assumed the stuck up kids in Hebrew school were just kids, and I was always more mature than my peers. My family was never stuck up or rude in any way, especially not about Judaism. I'm starting to think my family may be a fluke.

The emotional distance of the Internet can bring out the worst in people. It's helpful not to prejudge what someone is like in person with how they behave online.
