I suppose they are right if one is a misogynist arseling who hates women and refuses to accept women as fully entitled and equal human beings.

Nor does subjugating women. Except fighting does often work when all other means of addressing grievances have failed. Such as the tribes, villages, city-states, and other independent peoples fighting against Roman expansion and oppression. Or breaking the law and casting a vote and going to jail for it. Sometimes fighting is pressuring legislators until there are laws against domestic abuse and rape.

Sadly, it is the inferences by human thinking which violate God's Word.

It's a good thing we do, because we are way better off without things like slavery and considering women as part of a city's plunder.

It appears that exegetical accounts have the women spoken of in the verses to be particular wealthy women benefiting from the crimes of their husbands against the poor (Isaiah 3:14-15). So, what exactly is it about these particular women that you think applies to all women from these verses you thought important to quote?

I'm amazed about those Christians that can quote Paul in detail, but don't know so much about Jesus. For instance, I'll bet that you don't know what Jesus and his disciples did 'in Jerusalem and at the Temple' during that first day of that last week. All Paul....No Jesus?

The "problem" with this kind of thinking about woman is that both the Bible and Quran was written in a different time, a different culture and a time where woman was seen as just a baby machine

I believe if both christians and muslims want to share their teaching with people today, we do not need to upgrade the books we follow, but how we present the teaching that is most important for a human being to realize the truth.

As @Meow Mix rightly point out (in my view) Woman of today has a totally different status in society and by this the rules of how a man should treat female will of course also change.That said, both christians and muslims can still keep their behaviour according to the spiritual part of the teaching (inward) and be able to treat woman as the human being they are.

Woman is not a tool for man`s pleasure.

But being in jail I recently heard Muslim immigrants (my city has the record of Samoli immigrants in America) talk about how messed up Americans are for not controlling their women.

I actually admire these Muslim men and even the Christian OP for being blatantly obvious about an agenda to control women and keep them ignorant and narrow minded and brainwashed.

I don't admire their views, but I applaud their honesty. Honestly, I find this disgusting, and were I a women I would be very angry and resent Abrahamic faiths for that reason.

However, if I were a female reading the OP I would want to puke. Taliban make their women dress like Darth Vader, and I would rather wear a crown of thorns and be nailed to a cross , and die, than be a woman condemned to a full lifespan in Afghanistan under the Taliban.

1) This depends on what sorts of strengths you're talking about, and how much it matters when there's not insignificant overlap. Then there's the fact that some sexed and gendered characteristics are more socially informed than biologically informed.

I try to hate the silly, not the goose. But yes, it can be difficult; especially when it's not only dealing with blatant misogyny and sexism, but all of the more insidious, implicit sorts day in and out as well. It can be exhausting, and I don't really blame women that lose their tempers or run out of mental stamina otherwise to deal with it.

There is a dilemma: "pick your battles" vs. "silence is assent."

I've felt physically ill several times I've thought too hard about Afghan womens' plight (and the men, at that). There is a large local movement trying to get funds to help displaced Afghans, and we're looking into whether there is eventually any way to fund girls' education if the Taliban allows it and if we can be reasonably sure the funds won't be co-opted (I'm not optimistic about that one). I encourage everyone to consider the same.

The core feature of Axiomatic Truth from God is that regardless of whoever would presume to supplant or surpass it will find their best efforts, rather, confirming it.

God's Word is written in Eternity, and is not affected by any person's action or thought upon it.
