I'm now in the invisible sculpture business.
Prices depend upon size & quality, ranging
from $1 all the way up to $9.95.
Soon I'll branch out into silent orchestral scores.

There's no con if the sculpture is exactly as represented.
I’ll agree he wasn’t conned when the clown can resell it to another clown and pawn it off as a vacuum. Maybe that’ll be the next big thing in art. The reselling of invisible works. Who knows maybe musicians can make money off inaudible music.haha

More money has been spent on NFTs,
which also don't physically exist.

Conceptual art.
Indeed. So this artist gave him an idea. What if the guy who bought the idea already thought the idea at some point before purchasing the idea? Maybe he should’ve shopped around. Maybe somebody would’ve gave him a better idea for five bucks. Hahaha

Such an idea & its certificate is a famous (notorious?)
moment in history, one which will never exist again,
& is thus rare...unique. Someone paid to own it.

Someone paid to own this moment.
That’s exactly what I thought when I first saw it. My major in college was art. I’m a painter. I’ve studied art history. It is definitely different. I thought of Duchamp when I first heard of this.

Maybe this artist will have a retrospective someday in an invisible museum, and charge admission. Hahaha

As an artist, I thought of this idea many years ago, as I’m sure many artists have after studying art history and seeing all the weird things that have been considered art. It’s like the pinnacle of it all. How can you beat an invisible piece of artwork? Finally this idea made it to the big time. Haha

Thinking of it prolly happens often.
But the right artist actually doing it at
the right time is where success dwells.

My personal lack of
appreciation is irrelevant.

Absolutely. I’m surprised that it didn’t sell for much more. Who knows maybe it will appreciate. Maybe It will depreciate due to damage. Haha
