A day in description is 24 hours. I'm more than sure that the writers back then weren't thinking millenia since it didn't dawn on them that even 1,000 years was comprehendable.

I didn't believe the world was flat when I was 3 years old. I wasn't around 2,000 years ago; but I guess I can believe that people believed that the world was flat 2,000 years ago. This isn't about what I or anyone else would have believed 2,000 years ago, it is about what we believe now. I believed in Jesus when I was 17 and I believe in Jesus now, Twenty-some years later.

No , God is Spirit , God is in Heaven.
God is working (through Jesus) with Humans to transform them into his own likeness Gen.1v26,27.
