Ivanka Trump LOCK HER UP!

,

I've always been a believer in that whole innocence until proven guilty thing, I'm weird like that.
Guilt before being proven innocent seems to be a common theme among the left anymore, hang 'em first and ask questions later.

Incensed with perceptions of infallibility do they come, self righteous judges who find a witch under every bed and a familiar in every cupboard. Angrily they drag the poor souls to the burning poles, gibbering crowds cheer on their suffering.
Sad (in Trumps voice)
I agree. I hate it when the left starts chanting “Lock her up”. It is disgusting.

She says that none of the emails were classified. Clinton also claimed - initially- that none of the emails on her private account were classified.

Clinton was partly right, Jeff. None of her emails were classified "secret" or "top secret" at the time she sent them. Retroactively, some were -- that is, only after she had sent them. Three email chains, however, contained paragraphs marked "confidential" at the time they were sent -- the lowest level of classification. So there's that.

Of the emails that were classified, many that were classified only contained information already available to the public. The State Department has in the past been heavily criticized for overuse of classification.

I wonder what folks will think if any of Trump's emails are retroactively classified?

Yes, you on the right have been so fair minded with the whole innocent until proven guilty thing.
Thank you!

I can honestly say I don't recall ever mentioning Hillary or Obama's guilt in anything on this board, if you find this is an error please post a link to the post(s) so I can review it's content and context.
You will get a prize if you do find one, and no I'm not telling you what it is, it would take the "sur" out or surprise!

On another thread, I wrote, "The left is not looking for the approval of the right. The left doesn't share the right's values" and you responded with, "Now we are getting somewhere! Tell me more." This is what I was referring to. This would be an example of our differing values. I think that criminals should be identified and prosecuted. You describe the investigatory process as a witch hunt by an irrational and angry lynching mob - just like Trump. Most conservatives seem to be excusing Trump. They don't seem to care what he's guilty of, and don't have much interest in knowing, either. I can't identify with those values.

Or maybe I'm wrong about our differing values and you agree with me on this. I say that criminals need to be brought to justice even if they are Republicans. Do we have that value in common?

Incidentally, it's a criminal hunt, not a witch hunt, and plenty of criminals have already been identified, and either indicted or have chosen to cut deals for leniency for their cooperation, so I'd say that it's been a very successful hunting trip. Muller seems to finds a criminal under every rock he lifts in the Trump White House and sphere of orbit.

Maybe paybacks, Robin?

That's just it. Memories are long, and payback is a beach: Ken Starr. Swift boat. Benghazi. Birth certificate. Emails. Crooked Hillary. Lock her up.

Speaking of payback, I'm especially pleased to see Flynn, who famously led the "Lock her up" chanting at the 2016 Republican Nation Convention after announcing that we don't need a reckless president who feels above the law. Flynn also commented, "If I did a tenth of what she did, I would be in jail today.”

Just wait your turn, Micheal. Soon enough - probably before the year's end if not the month's.

Sounds like our values are the same, I support indentifying and prosecuting criminals no matter who they are and I have said many times on this board that if Trump and any of his officers are found guilty of breaking any U.S. laws then so be it, let them hang- after due process of course.

You describe the investigatory process as a witch hunt by an irrational and angry lynching mob - just like Trump.

I didn't describe the investigatory process as a witchunt, I have faith that when all the facts are on the table and in full view of everyone that justice will prevail. I stated before that I actually hoped democrats would do better in mid-terms so they could bring forth all the charges and investigations they wanted so we could get to the bottom of it so this country could hopefully move on either way it turned out. My witchunt rant was an indictment of what I see increasingly happening socially by some on the left, mobs of angry, screeching, self righteous bumpkins who use dubious claims of racism and sexism for political smears and emotionally charged rallying cries regardless of the effect it has on society as a whole.

@Sunstone did well to hit on your hypocrisy above, and I'm gonna try and return him the favor by citing your willingness to use stereotypes, which is a form of dishonesty. Anyone at this point who still supports Trump and his utter depravity in his words and actions pretty much shows how little even the most basic morals count to them.

Do I have to give you a lengthy litany of what we know he has said and done? But what you have shown us is that you really don't care because you're into the hero-worship of Trump.

So, thanks for putting your hypocritical double-standard on full display for us, Stanyon.

Ever watch Fox or listen to Limbaugh or read Breitbart? And, btw, there's nothing morally wrong for calling out racism and sexism when racism and sexism has been done, and if you can't see where he's done just that then maybe look in the mirror to see where the real problem is, Stanyon.

Yet provided no proof even when I promised a reward for it, proof of your willingness to believe accusations before having facts. You can search for facts to back up his claim as well- I won't hold my breath.

Of course, of course

Do I have to give you a lengthy litany of what we know he has said and done?

As long as it is within context and specific to the claims you make and facts actually support it- I might be interested, knock yourself out. We have heard many claims over and over that just didn't pan out in reality, you can only play the same song so many times before people start tuning out and that seems exactly what a lot of people have done. Some media outlets have shot themselves in the foot over Trump and I often wonder what news didn't get reported because of the Trump ratings pig-out.

Now you are just being dishonest as I said previously that time will tell-- which is essentially saying "I don't know".

OK:
-adultery
-affairs he's admitted to
-being able to "grope women by their pu**y"
-constant lying
-demeaning innocent people & name-calling
-chanting "Lock her up!" (lynch-mob mentality)
-his Trump University fiasco he's paid a fine for
-his illegal use of campaign funds whereas he had to pay another fine
-his violation along with his father of keeping blacks from renting their place
-his saying that a "Mexican" judge shouldn't hear is case
-his publicly stating twice he fired Comey to try and stop an investigation
-his tax cuts that ramp-up the deficit significantly and will hurt many of the poor and elderly
-etc. (this list could go on and on)

So, what is it that makes him so good in your eyes, Stanyon?

This reminds me of the title of a play by William Shakespeare, “Much Ado About Nothing”. This erstwhile imbroglio has no legs.

Each time the rabid anti-Trump crowd trots out one of these “nothing burgers” President Trump must smile. The anti-Trump fanatics will take the vapors and swoon to their fainting couches. “Lock her up”, <gush> “This time is it for Trump!”, <swoon> “Now we’ve got them!”, <gasp, faint>. Then the facts will come out. Rational minded people will see how over hyped the story was. Liberal hopes will be dashed again. Trump will still be standing. Moderates and independents will see, yet again, how wacky the anti-Trump mob is. More people will take another look at Trump and support him.

There was no "Lock him up" when Pence's non-government email that he used for government business was hacked. I would be highly surprised if there was a "lock her up" in regards to Ivanka.

That hypothesis is not supported by the outcome of the recent election, where Dems took the House and lost very little of what they had up for grabs in the Senate.

So, you believe that assuming guilt is all fine & dandy. What if I say about a child of yours "Lock her/him up!", would you feel the same way, or is only acceptable if it's someone you rally don't like anyway?

To assume guilt is not what this country was built on, and it is disgusting you hold this is so little regard. Words have impact, Shaul, or we would be here at RF using them.
