Jesus did not die on the Cross

Muffled

Jesus in me
That proves my point that Jesus did not die on the Cross.
There were Gospels that showed that Jesus did not die on the Cross; but at canonization these were not included in the Bible. Paul, Church and their associates suppressed such information.

Thanks and regards

I believe the church has a right to suppress spurious writings that contradict the Gospels.

If I do not believe the gospels to be 100% correct, why can't I use them? I believe they contains come truths, in that some words of Jesus ad his actions are records in them. However, there are other parts which I don't believe to be correct, and in essence, invented by the writers.

Syed, I don't believe that the gospels to be 100% because I have a number of contradictions within them.

However, I don't think the Qur'an to be correct too, when it speak of Jesus or John the Baptist. Muhammad's version of the gospel, is confused, distorted, disjointed and biased...but then again, I feel it is is the way for Qur'an retelling of stories from Adam to Elijah. And it mixed rabbinic legends and fables (from the Midrash), which would explain why the Qur'an was written by someone who don't understand the Hebrew Scriptures and Christian scriptures, and distorted the original stories.

It is disjointed in its timeline, jumping back and forth as badly as Quentin Tarantino's Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill movies.

The Gospels do not contradict each other. There are issues with translation that make the original hard to locate but this does not render the Gospels contradictory or untrustworthy.
I challenge you to provide a case of contradiction in the Gospels, or indeed elsewhere in the New Testament.

paarsurrey, you should read John 12 all the way through.
Jesus said, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.' (John 12:24)

Verse 27, 'Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.'

Do you understand these words, paarsurrey? JESUS CAME TO DIE. This was his purpose, his cause. He tells us so himself.

Hi paarsurrey,
I don't like playing games with a machine. Let a person present their honest opinions and back these opinions up with reason. As I've said before, I think these issues are more than intellectual pingpong. To me there are souls at stake.

Did anyone notice the corruption made by the Church in Book of Jonah?:

Jonah - Chapter 2:1-3
1. And the Lord appointed a huge fish to swallow up Jonah, and Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.
2. And Jonah prayed to the Lord his God, from the belly of the fish. 3. And he said: I called out from my distress to the Lord, and He answered me; from the belly of the grave I cried out, You heard my voice.
3. And he said: I called out from my distress to the Lord, and He answered me; from the belly of the grave I cried out, You heard my voice.

Yonah - Chapter 2 - Tanakh Online - Torah - Bible

Book of Jonah mention that Jonah was in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights; and the NT Bible courtesy the Church have corrupted it and changed it to three days and nights; without repeating three with nights; because Jesus did not spend full three days and full three nights in the Tomb; and Bible followers face difficulty in accounting for the period.

Jonah 1:17 Jehovah now sent a huge fish to swallow Jo′nah, so that Jo′nah came to be in the belly of the fish for three days and three nights.

Those who read and study know that Jesus was not really in the tomb for 3 full days and 3 full nights, according to our standards today. The Jewish days are different than regular 24 hour days.Their new day starts when the sun goes down, like on Nissan 14th.

Just as when God created the earth,it was not literal days.It could have been thousands of years.

2 Peter 3:8 But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.

God told Adam in that day that you eat the fruit, surely you will die.Adam lived to be 930 years of age.

The important thing is that we see how Jonah's account foreshadowed the coming of Jesus Christ and what would happen to him.

Jesus did not die on the cross; he was put on it but was delivered from it in near-dead position but very much alive.

Jesus did not die on a cross. To that you are correct. He was ,in fact, killed on a stake or pole.
READ Galatians 3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”

This is actually a quote from Deuteronomy 21:23 you must not leave the body hanging on the pole overnight. Be sure to bury it that same day, because anyone who is hung on a pole is under God’s curse. You must not desecrate the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.

It never says cross. It says pole.In some version, such as the Catholic Douay Rheims version and the KJV bible,it is rendered as tree.NEVER cross.

To say that Jesus Christ was not killed at all goes against the very meaning what is spoken of in the NT.He had to die in order to establish the new covenant with mankind.

Even in a lunar calendar the length of the day comprise of the same period as in the solar; the solar starts at midnight while the lunar when the sun sets and night starts.
