Jesus died on a Stake or a Cross?

Ok. So where does JW doctrine find its origination? And when?
I don't know I am not familiar with that religion or believe. I can tell you that ALL symbols and dates and everything can be traced back to the pagans beliefs in astrology....

Oh. Ok. Yeah. There are certainly pagan influences in early Christianity which have continued to present-day. I think this is widely accepted as fact.

Very much so, and this is a defining factor in what makes me cautious of any religion. It seems plagiarized to me is all.....

I wasn't saying mine was more accurate. I was showing how the "stigmata" could have come from either a cross or a stake.
And again, should it matter to a Christian if it was a cross or a stake?
Isn't the resurrection of more significance to Christianity?

It totally matters.

In case you haven't noticed, the cross is the most widely-recognized symbol of Christianity.
I find it interesting that you find the symbolism of an icon that did not become common for Christianity until the second century to be so important.
So either history is wrong or you are.

Wrong about what? I have never said, "Jesus was crucified on a 'stake'", I am just pointing out that there is no historical evidence one way or the other.
Romans used single poles, crossed poles in the shape of an X, the familiar Cross of Christianity, and a 'T' for crucifixions. These are historical facts.

The LDS are not exactly orthodox in their approach to theology, let's just leave it at that.

Who here would like to assert that Jesus was crucified on a spiral-shaped piece of wood?

Anyone?

Tomato, why do you suppose people are going on about a stake instead of a cross?

Easy it is easier to see that Jesus (if he ever did exist) was more than likely crucified on a stake, seeing as that is the times. the cross being changed later to convert more people, using familiar dates and symbols and such. just goes to show the length of deception Christianity will go to to rule the world.....

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Because it is entirely possible it was a stake, or a cross, or even a T.
All were common in Roman Crucifixion.

My question is, why is it important to you that it was a Cross?

Because the world understands it to be a cross. History understands it to be a cross. Christianity understsands it to be a cross.

So the traditional symbolism of the Cross means more to you than the message?

(BTW, there is little to no historical evidence that the crucifixion of Jesus even occurred, much less evidence that it occurred on the symbolic Christian cross)
