People that read their Bible in order to find the real Jesus find him soon enough. Aspersions cast towards non believers comes with the territory, belief is the main thrust of the Jesus story, no matter what form he takes on.

Dear oh dear......... I haven't found Jesus, mate.
I've clawed around in the debris of literature, a few archaeological finds, what history is still there and got a glimpse of a guy long deceased who cared about the people around him. That's all.

Many of them think they get private
help from God, who shows them the infallible
Bible- readin' method.

Not everyone believes on faith like you do, some people need something to go on in order to formulate a belief especially when it comes to the existence of characters from the far past. Thery all may very well have existed but I don't have enough information to go on. Some people like yourself are more easily convinced.
