Their home is in the US. Where are they supposed to go if or until the ban is lifted? It's ludicrous.
Refugees home is in the US? Don't think so.

Those with permanent resident cards simply go through a secondary screening and are allowed in assuming they pass.

Not just "not as secured as you'd like them to be", but plain ol' "not secured"?

You haven't tried to cross the border lately, have you?

That assumes honest law-abiding people coming in. Drugs and guns are getting in somehow. How long are the east and west coast shorelines? Plenty of Mexican immigrants getting across the border. I'd say our borders are more like Swiss cheese.

In this video that it speak about the other president that had put a banned on immigrants. But no one did not complained. I'm trying to find a video that Obama had said that President Trump is saying the same thing that they were saying about policies in the past. But he stated that President Trump just expressed it in a different way. But this was during the campaign when he had said this.
So it shows that all of the present politicians are very corrupt, and which the president needs to put this country under Martial law until the swamp is fully drained. Under Martial law, that all political figures except for the president , because he will remain the commander and chief, will have no power. Because the majority are against the president and joinig ISIS.
Martial law is the imposition of the highest-ranking military officer as the military governor or as the head of the government, thus removing all power from the previous executive, judicial branches of government.[1] It is usually imposed temporarily when the government or civilian authorities fail to function effectively (e.g., maintain order and security, or provide essential services). So you do not find any of Professor Cole's "personal analysis" on the issue of the Constitutional rights of aliens to be contrary to the Court's holdings, do you?

No one here has denied that the US government lacks the "sovereign power to deport aliens" generally, have they? In what way does "the sovereign power to deport aliens" supposed to relate to Trump's EO?

Are you trying to argue that Trump's EO is constitutional in denying entry to Darweesh, Alshawi and similar immigrants? If so, on what premise do you make that argument?
I argue upon 8 USC 1182: "Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline."

How do we explain the influx of drugs, guns and illegal immigrants if there aren't holes in our borders security?
Apparently, you're having trouble understanding the difference between "not secured" and "not as secured as you'd like them to be" too.

Maybe you could explain the difference to those of us who evidently don't have the capacity to understand 'secured' as you'd like it to be. Maybe explaining your meaning instead of being snide would be a start, yes?

I respond to people the way they respond to me. If you want less snark, you know what to do.

The difference:

- not as secured as you'd like it to be: there are patrols, checkpoints, people with guns, etc., but more stuff gets through than you would like.

- not secured: there are no patrols, checkpoints, people with guns, etc.
