Just curious...why don't

Muffled

Jesus in me
It is wrong to portray Krishna as having blue skin. His skin color was 'dark like a rain-laden cloud' (Ghana+shyam=Cloud+dark) and not black as he is depicted in some idols. You can term it as dusky or a shade darker, common in India.

So I believe he doesn't even qualify as a god. How disappointing.

I believe there is only one God who is Lord of all.
I believe we have it in our pledge of allegiance "one nation, under God."

Let me rephrase... "whose idea or view of God, and why?"

I don't think you answered the question "And where does it say 'God' in any of the laws of the United States?" The Pledge of Allegiance is not a law. I'm not obligated to recite it; there will be no legal repercussions if I don't recite it. There will however, be a legal price to pay for running that stop sign or red light. Apples to oranges.

If you break God's laws you will pay a price now or later and He always knows what you have done.

Why so many laws and worrying about breaking them? Isn't a simpler way Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. - Deuteronomy 6:1-19; Mark 12:28-34

It is just an example of how laws change. Things that were illegal twenty years ago are now legal.
How does that have anything to do with God? Remember, God is not referenced at all in US laws.
