Here is the ayah in question...

Show us where you think that the word "son" is....

Just highlight the word for us....

What's your point here....there's only one son mentioned in this verse...it's only "Messiah Eisa (pbuh) the son of Mariam."

Not quite...

Later, in the same ayah, Jesus is also mentioned as being his Son...

We have already posted several mainstream renderings of 4.171 (by Muslims) which state that Jesus is the Son...
Mainstream what? propaganda? What other lies can you post. Are these posts in the traditions or tafsir of how the messenger and his companions understood it. I do not care what other muslims say, WHAT DOES THE MESSENGER OF ALLAH, HIS COMPANIONS, AND FUQAHA(scholars from the first 3 generations) what did they say it meant.

THEY AND THEM ALONE ARE AN AUTHORITY IN OUR RELIGION.

these posts you speak of are from non muslims and non arab speaking people. you are not going to seriously come along and try to change meanings which have been known from the beginning.

I guess you think Muhammed and his companions got it wrong. HELLO IT WAS THEIR'S IN THE FIRST PLACE. They gave it to us. so to try and interpret it from what you think is ridiculous. Go and continue to do that to your religion. do not try to give interpretation in ours.

funny there are no scholars of arabic language references in any of your posts. so you will be a little hard pressed to try and get us to buy into anything you have to say being a non arab speaker and muslim.

SHOW ME WHERE IN THE QURAN AND AIUTHENITIC SUNNAH WHERE ANY OF YOUR IDEAS ARE SUPPORTED.

SON OF WHAT? If you say Jesus is the son of Maryam then you are correct in understanding. Only if it is that way.

So who cares...we are all children of God, hence we are...The Son and Daughter of God...God is not prejudiced nor practices favoratism...Jesus is our Brother.

The classic Arabic of 4.171 clearly states that Jesus is his Son...some Muslims are at least honest enough to state this in their English renderings...

Only one was the only begotten Son...

Yup...sure was...according to the original Catholic Church...which, in order to conform to the first of the 10 Commandments...made Jesus into their own exclusive God...this is total adulterated prejudice and should be corrected.

Begotten is, generated by procreation...a physical act by a spirit?...that goes against God's own infallible laws of nature...supernaturalism CAN NOT exist on Earth.

Sounds like you are constraining yourself to the four dimensions that you, yourself, can experience...

You need to read the whole of 4.171...

You need to read the whole Qur'an. Only a blind man would say that the Qur'an states that Jesus son of Mary, is ِAllah(SWT)'s begotten son.

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.

[1] Praise be to Allah, Who has sent to His Servant the Book, and has allowed therein no Crookedness:
[2] (He has made it) Straight (and Clear) in order that He may warn (the godless) of a terrible Punishment from Him, and that He may give Glad Tidings to the Believers who work righteous deeds, that they shall have a goodly Reward,
[3] Wherein they shall remain forever:
[4] Further, that He may warn those (also) who say, "Allah hath begotten a son":
[5] No knowledge have they of such a thing, nor had their fathers. It is a grievous thing that issues from their mouths as a saying: What they say is nothing but falsehood! [18.1-5]
