Kowtow to Atheists? Oh, hell to the no!

I don't know how to describe it except as exaltation, presence and immersion... it included the knowing that this is what has been called god by those mystics before. I've experienced interesting things before but this was on a wholly new level.

Jumi, forgive me for interjecting myself into your conversation with jollybear, but I have a question.
While I don’t have any reason to doubt that you have had one or more “experiences”’ I am at a loss as to how you are able to verify that they have anything to do with a god or anything supernatural. I mean, all you have is your own perception and interpretation and you have no way to test your assumtions objectively. I think I am correct to assume you do,not believe yourself to be infallible, so how do you test for such things?

Yes, I am disappointed. I suppose he just wanted to vent and not have a discussion. It would have been interesting to understand where he got his distorted viewpoints from. Maybe he is simply preoccupied and will return to the discussion?

I guess. But it seemed like a pretty specific rant about a lifelong of torture by atheists.

Maybe it really wasn't his problem and he quickly figured it out by reading the responses to him in this thread. Hopefully he is now in a more understanding place.

I wonder where Egor went? I thought he was going to raise his voice against the murderous atheists. I guess he didn't get the hateful responses he was seeking...oh well. There are other forums I guess.

Wait...he was raising his voice against 'murderous atheists' and he has vanished?

*erects soapbox*

Dear friends. I think the conclusion here is pretty clear. I, for one, see this as clear proof that atheists are evil. We must all stand against them, united in our....err...

*a PA quickly runs to the dais and whispers in his ear*

Who me? I'm not murderous....oh...right...I see what you mean.

*quietly steps down from dais*

As you were.

The OP has been here for quite a few years, but he does not have very many posts. It appears that he is more of a hit and run type of poster than anything else.

The good thing about it is, that I don't assume anything supernatural. I don't necessarily believe in supernatural things either, would depend on how you define supernatural I guess? I never talk about supernatural from my own initiative. I just know that this that I am experiencing was God as told by mystics.

I don't assume that I'm infallible either. The experience was what it was and it was a turning point for me, I don't expect anyone else to just outright come to same conclusions.

I have my standard evil, murderous atheist, small children eaten for meals response. But I only indulge in that very sparingly. Maybe he would have enjoyed that.

He is the one who said he has been tortured by atheists in forums for 24 years or something like that. This should have been a fun walk in the park for him.

Perhaps he has a low bar for what he considers 'torture'?

Wait...that's it! He's off protesting at Guantanamo.

That's a very negative way of describing him. Given that he's dropping unadulterated truth before us, he probably simply assumes there is nothing to discuss.

Ahem .

I've been dealing with atheists for 25 years online (Yes, ever since the newsgroup era). They are not looking to find answers. They want you dead. They are a manifestation of the end times.
There are no end times. That is a story from the Bible. The Bible is fiction.

I think Atheists merely don't want religious people corrupting society by imposing their false doctrines on everyone else in society (ala Christendom).
