Language, the most lovely evidence of God.

Nobody can communicate coherently to another species, not even us, so why are you expecting dolphins to be able to?

I am simply explaining what they " Cannot do", and they cannot speak and have no consciousness, they, like all animals, exist soley on instinct and survival. Of all beings on earth, only humans are conscious beings.

Peace.

This is a blatent lie, Animals DO HAVE LANGUAGE. Language is not limited to just word. It's communication between two things, WHICH ANIMALS DO!!! And for all you knwo they may do it better than us. YOU CANNOT PROVE OTHERWISE!!!

Oh I have been proved this to myself. It is impossible for animals to have language, because language is " soley a human system of Communication" through written and vocal symbols. It is diction , linguistics, expression of thought and articulation which is impossible for animals to duplicate.

Peace.

Is that an "expression of thought" if you don't speak German? (Arguably, it's not an expression of thought even if you do)

Anyhow, Language is the Lovely evidence of God. We can know this by the way God created " Human Names", when he named Adam. Adams time, perhaps anywhere between 14,000 to 40,000 years ago, we just don't know. We see the carryover of nouns into names for individual people during these " Mesolithic eras".

With names we can now be recreated in our absence during others conversations, and have personal identity. Our graves can be marked.

Peace.

God gave Adam and Eve language

I've found no evidence from your bible that your god did this.

from there each new word literally created new perceptions and attentions, and such new perceptions and attentions resulted in important cultural changes which are reflected in the Archaeological record.

Please list the Archeological evidence.

There is no record of dogs developing culture

Define "culture" because we know for a fact that some dogs and especially wolves have "pack" mentality consisting of an (alpha male). The same goes for dozens of other species such as lions. Again, try here to gain an understanding of what (animal culture) is.

or verbal vocabulary

You have not shown that animal communication isn't "verbal", but it has been stated and shown that the way animals communicate with the repetitive sounds they produce is considered such. Just because you can't understand what they're saying doesn't mean they're not communicating with each other.

whales had no written languages

But you didn't say writing ability but that does not alter the fact that they do communicate quite effectively.

Dolphins have never advanced in any organization of their verbal abilities that has led to communication with another species, and elephants don't speak to other animals , and do not communicate to man.

Neither have we been able to simply use our "standard" form of communication to communicate with animals so I fail to see your point.

I have.

Read my thread on Archaeology, I cover it there.

Culture is human, not animal. Justr like language is human.

I have shown it plenty, just nothing that you can see.

I can see you fail to see my points.

Names make relationships more intense , and when the person dies the name goes on. Only humans name themselves and we name animals, no animal in any manner has ever named a human. Nor do they call each other names.

By 9,000 B.C. evidence of Language began showingh up in Levant and Iraq, suggesting an early infusion of agriculture in the near eastern highlands.-, the Tigris-Euphrates and Nile was rapidly spreading, swelling populations into cultural landscapes with budding languages,

The will of God in human language was being established.

Well people had to have something to carry all their clothes around in, even back then.

The Great dynasties of Ur and Egypt began their mighty impact on history, and I believe the first human language was between these two peoples. Cities of 10,000 inhabitants, as the " Merinde on the western edge of the Nile delta", were not uncommon. The date, around 5,000 B.C. when language grew strong and the climate on the earth , called the " Holocene Thermal Maximum", was warmer and moister than today.

So people were enjoying their communication.

You've presented no evidence for this claim. Again, without actually being able to understand the language (communication ability) of "ANY" animal you are not in a position to say for a certainty that animals don't have names for each other.

I have presented pages of evidence, you just can't see it.

Upon seeing the title of this thread, I finally decided to never directly respond to any of Mickiel's ridiculous, asinine, childishly simplistic and utterly irrational claims. I have followed Meow Mix's example and put him on my ignore list, because trying to debate or discuss with him has about the same impact as trying to hold reasonable discourse with a tin of tuna flakes - although that may be an inaccurate comparison, considering tuna can actually be good for you and quite adaptable.

In any case, please, for the love of sanity and all that is rational in the world:

Do not feed the troll!

Thank you.

Peace on your journey.

You got me all wrong. I don't do put people on the ignore list. I haven't had a need for that yet. I was just agreeing to not respond to this particular thread is all.
