Let's Give Thanks That A&E Ate That Apple

You can say freewill is an illusion, but that does not mean you are correct. There is no reason that an omnipotent/omniscient Being could not and does not allow created beings to make real choices.
If the "omnipotent/omniscient Being" knew ahead of time what choices the created beings would make and what the consequences of those choices would be, then the "omnipotent/omniscient Being" also chose those consequences and is responsible for them.

Consider.

1) It is estimated that 108,470,690,115 people have lived on Earth.*

2) The world has a land area of 57,308,738 Square Miles**

3) This means that that there would be 1,893 people for every square mile.

4) Right now, with a world population of 7.6 billion,*** there are only about 133 people for every square mile.

5) This means that had A & E not eaten the apple, no one would have died, and today there would be 14 times as many people on Earth.

Think this would be all that desirable; 1,893 people for every square mile versus 133 people?

My understanding is that Adam and Eve wouldn't have been able to have children, but let's say they did and no one died. Couldn't we have arcologies?

I'm not learning anything (lol)… I was taught that they wouldn't have been able to have children. Why would they be able? Can an LDS help me out here?
When I said "Live and learn", I was referring to myself. I had never heard anything about A&E not being able to have kids.

My best guess is A&E were like innocent, shining kids. When they partook of the fruit, they knew they could have sex.
Well, that and they wouldn't know how to raise their children well if they didn't know it was good to (good as in the tree of knowledge of good and evil).

Have you ever read Genesis 1 to 3 yourself and not what LDS have taught you?

In each creation of first birds and fishes (5th day), then land animals and then humans (6th day), he told them, twice (1:23 &1:28) to be -

“Be fruitful and multiply...”

What do you think it meant, when god said that, twice?

To populate the earth, wouldn’t that involve sex and having offspring?

Either LDS having been diligent in their teachings or they got it wrong, or you haven’t read Genesis yourself.

Sorry... I was cautioned not to try to be a part-time missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints until I was baptized and I'm going to try to do that. But yes I have read it and am aware of the paradox.
