Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman and his brother fired and escorted out of White House.

First of all, talking to NSC lawyers clearly is not leaking. Right?

Wrong.

Secondly, apart from NSC lawyers, Vindman testified that he only spoke to two other people about the July 25 call: George Kent, and an unnamed CIA officer. Both of whom, he says, have security clearances and appropriate need-to-know. That is not the same as “leaking”, right?

https://www.vox.com/2019/11/19/20972542/vindman-nunes-whistleblower-impeachment-hearing

He says is not evidence of clearance. It is still a form of leaking as Vindman isn't the whistle blower.

Vindman’s view was that the call was “not appropriate” - I believe those were his words.

Then report to the IG instead of talking to people that are not the IG. Procedure.... Heard of it?

There is no evidence that the WH as a whole, rather than Trump specifically, even disagrees with that view.

Wrong. Watch the hearings and Trumps own responses.

Most employers who care about ethics and making sound decisions provide appropriate channels through which concerned employees can escalate concerns, and don’t retaliate against employees who raise such concerns because you don’t want to encourage a culture of silence / not speaking up. Trump isn’t interested in any of that, he’d rather purge and be surrounded by “yes men” - precisely as John Kelly feared.

Fiction and projection especially for the US gov. If your idealism were true most POTUS and WH staff would be in jail including Clinton, Obama, Bush 1/2, Reagan, and so on.

Back at ya. You said it was a disagreement over policy - your opinion. I backed up my opinion. You have not.

Vindman made a choice to leak instead of being a whistle blower thus had no protection. His judgement became questionable thus is grounds for dismissal.
But he didn’t leak according to his testimony. You keep saying he leaked but haven’t provided evidence. Opinion.

POTUS replace hundreds to thousands of staff every election. Yawn.
“Yawn” isn’t an argument. POTUS replaces staff but not always because that staff reported totally inappropriate behavior - to the proper channels. This is a drunk driver firing our seat belts. You can close your eye - but I don’t suggest falling asleep.

Trump claimed Vindman leaked, but he's a liar.

You are saying that an NSC official, relaying legal concerns to NSC lawyers about an NSC matter, is “leaking”.

If that is a leak, then gee, I wonder what NSC lawyers do all day, if they aren’t supposed to field legal questions and concerns from NSC staff.

Pure nonsense. You’ve simply repeated Trumps smear against Vindman with no evidence to back it up, which is a shame. I rest my case - you can have the last word.

Trump claimed Vindman leaked, but he's a liar.
He’s clearly lying, and the lies are effective.

Thanks to people like Shad. Like a patient with coronavirus, he has gone around spreading the lie to others long before he even realizes he’s been infected by it. This is part of his sad crusade to ensure that Donald Trump - the lying-est bigot in America - doesn’t get criticized unfairly. Better to not speak up against blatant wrongdoing, in Shad’s view, than risk overdoing it. ;)

Partisanship trumps integrity and principles these days.

Now Trump is attacking Judge Amy Berman Jackson.

It was the same pattern with Yovanovitch. Remember? It wasn’t enough for Trump to fire her - which he has the right to do as POTUS. No, he had to lie and smear her.

Or that judge in the ... what was it ... Trump University (lol) case? Remember when Trump said that judge wouldn’t be fair, because he had Mexican heritage?

It is fascinating to me when a supposed right-wing tough guy is not tough enough to tolerate different people with different views. He’s really tough when it comes to weak enemies who can’t fight back - like children at the border. Not so tough when it comes to a senior advisor or staffer doing their job and advising him that what he’s doing is inappropriate.

Remember those tough US Marine generals Trump displayed like a boy and his new BB gun, like “Mad Dog” Mattis? And HR McMaster? And John Kelly? Or the tough guy who ran a real business (not a do-nothing pol), Rex Tillerson? They questioned the leader - under the bus they go. Bolton too. Snowflake Trump can only tolerate lapdogs like Pence and Twitter users who call him Chosen One.

I have never thought Trump was tough.. He can't control himself or shut his mouth, That isn't manly to me.

This is just babble due to your lack of ability to respond to what I said.

Alexander Semyon Vindman is a United States Army lieutenant colonel who was the Director for European Affairs for the United States National Security Council (NSC) until he was dismissed on February 7, 2020.

Vindman’s twin brother in charge of reviewing NSC ...

The Wall Street Journal described Vindman as “an NSC lawyer handling ethics issues.” Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman described his brother as the “lead ethics official” at the NSC.

Isn’t that interesting? I completely agree. It’s a cheap substitute for people who don’t know how to recognize the real thing - like a Trump steak. Yet many believe the obese rich kid with his spray tan and fake hair who hides during a WWII memorial because it’s raining ... they believe he’s “tough”.

@Shad

He's emotional and unstable.. not manly.

Vindman is an ethics lawyer with the NCS so you can see why the old prisspot would want him GONE.
