As we know, these cannot be the actual words of God. They’ve been translated. Translation is imprecise at best, plus, we don’t even know if God speaks Hebrew or Koine Greek.
This is how I interpret it. Worship is turned to a book and not the message that book contains. If a person starts to view their own interpretation as absolute and flawless, than that worship is turned inward.

Sure it does. I have provided evidence through the scriptures. You not believing them is why you do not understand them so you seek to simply deny God's Word with your words that are not God's but yours so your argument is with God not me.

Nonsense. The scriptures interpret themselves you just do not understand them because you do not believe them or know them because spiritual things are spiritually discerned. You will never know them of God in my opinion while you practice occult teachings.

You do not know the meaning of those scriptures do you? You will never know the meaning of God's Word without God's Word or will you have the Spirit of truth if you do not know God's Word. According to the scriptures I believe all you will get is strong delusions to believe lies because you recieved not the love of the truth that you may be saved. *2 THESSALONIANS 2:9-12

If you believed and followed God's Word you would know this practice in condemned in the scriptures. Yet you deny them and say those who believe and follow what God says are worshipping idols? I suggest you read EXODUS 20:4-5 in a bible. Yes I love God's Word! For me, he must increase and I must decrease. I only point all to the Word of God because it is there we find the one who loves us that we may love him. I know him and am known by him. All that he shows me I see and must show to all because I am blind. He tells me it is those that say they see that do not see. These are they that have once known him or do not know him. There is only life in the living Word. These are his Words and not my own. Freely I give because freely I have received. I must speak in the light and what I hear preach in the housetops. Many will not hear because they do not know Him. He is the Word of God and those that believe him are those that he has chosen. They follow him because they love him and are loved by him. Many are called but few are chosen. There is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed come judgment day.

He that says I know him and keeps not his commandments is a liar and the truth is not in him. He that commits sin is of the devil because he has neither seen him nor known him. I said that Matthew wrote the words. Whether Jesus said them? No one can know with a great degree of certainty. Matthew certainly ascribes them to Jesus. If there’s a multiple attestation in Luke, or Thomas, that’s a pretty good indication that the quote is authentic.
