It just seems we're comparing oranges and oranges and concluding oranges.
Yes, we might be. However many don't. That is more the argument I think.
Look, even without the OP analogy, we end up with the same argument.

Oh, you mean 'in the image of'. The thing is, perhaps we should be ascribing those qualities to Deity that resembles us more. it's a tricky question.
Deity that is "invisible" would be squarely imagined. And Deity that is a man, as Jesus was, would be imagined (because "man" is the obvious form).
Well, we are His children and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, so to speak.
Ingledsva said:It says humans - were created in the image of Elohiym, both male and female.
Eh what?
Ingledsva said:Just kidding. LOL! No Jesus in Tanakh.
Hmm I think you might want to study Christian doctrine a bit more if you think that.
Christianity believing Jesus is the Moshesh - does not make it so.
Obviously the Jews say he has not fulfilled the prophecies.

'Man was created in the image of G-d'.
The G-d that is the likeness of man is Jesus, not an "invisible' god.
Jesus is The Creator G-d.
It doesn't matter what Judaism has to say about Christianity.
I don't know why you seem to think Judaism has some 'say' in Christian belief, it doesn't.
the bible gives the name of the Creator as Yahweh/Jehovah, not Jesus.
LOL! The "Moshesh," that Christianity claims Jesus is, - is the Jewish Moshesh.
You folks saying they have no say is ridiculous.
They are saying Christians have misread/mistranslated their texts, AND - that Jesus does not fulfill the Moshesh prophecies.
That is obviously a legitimate observation.

I already explained this, we aren't even using the same texts. Just go look it up. And no, Jahshuah isn't just the Jewish Messiah in Christianity, at least you should know that.

I clearly explained to you already, Judaism and Christianity have different Prophets.[/COLOR]
I don't know where you are getting that from?
Christianity does not teach that.

I'll help you out, Pegg.
It's JHVH
Humans are the Creator God?
That's even screwier.
Oh, yeah, it does. Just look it up.
