Mass deportations to the East

interesting:

It seems the EU has sent France a Letter:

France welcomes decision

In its response, the French foreign ministry said it would provide Brussels with whatever other information it requests, and welcomed what it said was the Commission's acceptance that Paris'
expulsion policy is not racist.

"The Commission accepted France's assurances that the measures taken have neither the aim nor the effect of targeting a specific 'minority' and that French authorities apply EU law in a non-discriminatory fashion," it said.

"France notes no procedure has been undertaken in terms of the application of EU free movement rules and in particular in terms of measures taken to move on EU citizens detained during the evacuation of illegal camps.

"France will, of course, provide all necessary additional information, as it has already done up until now," the statement, issued by Bernard Valero, the foreign ministry spokesman, read.

If the Roma could earn a decent living in Romania and not be scapegoated by the rest of the population, the situation would be different. Their living standards in France don't seem great, but if they are returning after being sent back to Romania and other countries, the situation in those countries must be even worse.

The solution is not mass deportations; it is improving the standard of living in their country of origin so they voluntarily return or do not leave in the first place.

A person who leaves a country for economic reasons is not considered a refugee and can be deported back. Being dirt poor isn't a good enough reason, even if you're going days at a time without food and your ceiling's about to cave in. All you need to do is find the right job where you are and you'll be fine. Of course, being part of a minority that is widely discriminated against might make that a little hard to do....

Ah well some Roma have found the loophole right there.

So France pays money to Roma who return to their country and even get a bonus per child. What do you do after that? Well after your free flight by plane(sponsored by the french) you return to france. After which you get sent home with more money. Its like a never ending goldmine.

I dont know what to think of Roma. Obviously the majority are decent people like any other people on earth. But it feels like i've never met any. Perhaps they are all super-integrated into society like no one else. I dont know...

My first contact with Roma was on the Canary Islands. I've only been there once and the whole holiday was not that bad. Except that the streets were literally filled with begging Roma children. Those children looked like they were straight out some african civil war if you looked at their clothing. But what was really interesting was that every now and then some teenage person would collect the money they begged.
Also there were kids that would clean the windows of your car and if you didnt pay them they would spit on your car or kick against it.

I was shocked. To this day i've never seen something like this again. I've visited "less" industrialised countries like vietnam and there you get kids that want to sell you something. If you wouldnt buy something they would run towards the next tourist and then some shopkeeper would scream at them because they were bothering his possible customers. But never have i seen that kind of behavior like on the canary islands.

Iam ok with nomadic people. But i dont see any future for them in such a densely populated area as the EU. And i dont see where the current EU law is wrong which the EU seems to have forgotten about while raging over france.
They can basically live in france for all of their life. They just need an address and work. Thanks to various welfare benefits there is a huge possibility that they wouldnt even have to pay for their home/apartment/etc. It should even be possible to declare a caravan/trailer as a home.

Its the same for my family as we dont live in our country but we have an address and work/study. So germany doesnt send us home.

Also Roma have to understand that their children will probably never get a higher degree in anything. If you are a little Roma kid and switch school three times a year there is no way you are going to be successfull. People should think about the future of their children above anything else.

This post got longer than i planned it to. ;)
