which doesn't make the act of masturbation wrong in itself. a lot of things could lead to ethically problematic acts (i don't really believe in 'sin'). lust is only a positive concept for me, then again i'm not a christian.
i'm no great fan of the porn industry, in fact i strongly oppose it, but i can't really say that pornography in itself is morally problematic. material depicting nude consenting adults or whatever intended to sexually arouse people isn't in itself prolematic - my grudge lies solely in how it is usually produced and the way it usually upholds, repeats and permeates heteronormativity, gender stereotypes, gender hierarchy and patriarchal power structures.
