It is a growing experince. If you dont think it is a sin, then think that, just like many people think being homosexual is not wrong. I see it as this. Most people on here do not want to change, and have made up in their mind that they won't.

I will not try to proove to you that This act is wrong. Everyone needs to grow and learn for themselves. Yet sometimes when one teaches themself they get taught wrong.

I listen, but i dont like the acceptance of things that are flase, one must look at the big Picture and see the truth in things. I don't think Onan was doing anything close to masterbation. From a literal interpretation here, Onan basically withdrew prematurely. Thats the way it reads NASB. I don't think the actual act of masterbation is wrong per-say, but the thought process that goes along with it is. Actually I always thought though that masterbation was a perversion of what God really intended. The sexual experience is supposed to be with a woman, more specifically with your wife. If anything, masterbation is an insult to the way God designed our bodies to function.

You don't KNOW the truth. You THINK you do because of your personal "insight" which is no more valid than anyone else's. You speak from a self assuredness that comes from conceit. So adament in your own mind that you are willing to tell everyone else that they must learn but, are yourself, unwilling to learn from others.

Masturbation can not only be used by yourself, but can be used in the acts with someone else. When caught up in the act of lovemaking with your partner and your hands start to roam, what difference does it make if both partners are enjoying it?

Obviously you will say that I have no shame to even discuss such things. They are merely facts of life though that every adult knows and deals with. There should be no stigma about discussing that which is a part of are normal lives. It is the ones like you who attach these stigmas and make things "wrong" to talk about or discuss openly because of the "morality" of it. I say if more people discussed these things then maybe our society wouldn't be so messed up about certain sex topics. I mean really...it's sex, and every animal species on the planet deals with it. How can it be that bad?

Insight Should not only come from yourself, but from God. God spoke through the Prophets and the Apostles declaring Homosexualioty among many others things to be wrong. I simply believe what he said. I only voice your sin that you might turn from it not to make you feel bad.

I'm curious, Jerrell, what you think of the ancedote of the Hollywood producer and the Indian guru in my last post? Do you think the guru has a point in thinking the best way to deal with lust is not to condemn and deny it, but to satisfy it so that it does not become overwhelming, much as one would satisfy hunger so that it does not become overwhelming?
