Maybe its time for a right wing military style dictatorship

I hope you're right. the 21st century has been one of regress thus far, from where I'm standing. The minds of the public have shifted backwards on so many issues, even while the government pushes liberal social values. I know this is not the humanist-inclined United States I grew up in. This is a cynical, fearful, and bitter culture.

I'm basically of the position that if you want your commie state and you won't bleed for it, go to Venezuela or China where you will be happy. Stop trying to force me to live in one...

"Backward" is a matter of perspective.
I see some progression this century...
- Legal gay marriage
- Marijuana legalization (despite some dithering by the fed)
- Citizens United v FEC
- Expansion of national parks

Oh, I understand you don't like that presentation of that reality. I just have faith that the absolute destruction of the planet isn't a viable strategy, and most other sensible people will not either. :D
Your ideas will lead to destruction while the ones I propose will lead to prosperity.

In a couple of decades no country where your ideas are implemented will be liveable anyways.

That's why I mentioned liberal social values, but I'm not sure how much of this the people would have undertaken without the government's presence and helping. I do see much fear motivating the modern American dialogue.

I'm not sure what a Commie state has to do with what I said. Right-wingers always pull this Communist card thing.

Your ideas will lead to global war, while mine will not.

They won't lead to a war, because no one is even stupid enough to mess with the USA. They'd literally be deleted. Besides, everyone can get their free stuff over on the other side of the pond, makes more sense to follow the path of least resistance if that's what you want. When those countries destroy themselves by feeding millions of freeloaders off the taxes of the few who will be able to work, then the people will get sick of it and kick them all out. It's happened before, it'll happen again...

If you prefer that I use the "politically" correct term Socialism, not that it matters, since they're synonymous I will lol...

I'm far away from a right winger, it's just calling a spade a spade.

Do you actually have a coherent conception of what kind of society and economy and nation would be your ideal? Say US 2045. How do you see it if all your wishes come true?

Much of it took place with government's opposition.
Grass roots acceptance of gay marriage, for example,
led the states to recognize it. Only then did the USSC
climb on board, with the federal government standing
idly by.

No I mean I'm not sure how this rant about Socialism and Communism tie into my observation that this isn't a humanist-oriented country anymore in the minds of the people. That the people are cynical and fearful. This has little to do with social economic theories. This has to do with what the people think and put into their minds.

There never really is an ideal, and the dynamics change with the times. I prefer to just have a government adapt to the needs of its citizens over time, and note I said citizens.. I give a **** less what anyone else wants of us. :D

It has a lot more to do with the regressive-progressive left, or the cultural marxist cults undermining the values of people and making them focus on complete garbage that shouldn't matter to anyone. :D

Silly idea. Very soon many countries will have nuclear arsenal as advanced as the US. Also it's the poor people who revolt, not the rich and the taxpayers. Those whom you call freeloaders (serfs in another century). It's US that's more likely to see unrest and war if your policies are implemented.
