Honestly though. This is the weakest Italy team I've seen. So Australia have some sort of a chance.

Some sort of chance? The only reason Brazil and Croatia stood a chance is that they had the officials in their back pocket!
Someone's seriously scared of these Aussie's and as long as the Italians and the Referee don't get TOO dirty I seriously believe this Aussie team is gonna rock some European teams world!

I'll tell you what. I will give you all the coins I have (not many I know) and karma everyday I log onto RF if Australia beat Italy. This is not a bet because there is no need for you to match my offer. See it as a reward for being in that area of the world.

I don't know how wise that bet/"reward" was Mystic-als, Guus Hiddink (sp?) has some kind of Midas touch with every team he works with, they just might do it!
Hopefully with the reduced Portugal team we'll manage to beat Portugal. Man for man, I think we're better- trouble is we have Sven who likes to play teams based on their reputation instead of really playing the best team. He was playing around with it yesterday, so by Saturday maybe we'll have something that works better.
Still backing Argentina to win, especially as Brazil aren't quite looking as up to scratch as they could.

Personally I'd love for England to hand Portugal a thumping of note. Just because of the childish display against Holland. I am a huge Beck's fan (not the drink). And of course I like the chelsea players.
Pitty about the liverpool and Man U players not performing. So very sad. hehehehe

England have had a poor performance all round. BUT they are through. So now on is where the boys sit down and the men take the park.
I am also backing Argentina. But Brazil are looking more and more hungry.
It'll be a good test against Ghana. But not a problem I don't think.

Ecuador I really have no opinion about one way or the other, but if they couldn't beat England who was playing poorly to begin with, then well they don't deserve to go on either.

Did anybody witness the amazingness that was Argentina's winning goal the other day? I think it's the best goal for the whole tourney so far.
