Hey, don't let the truth change your mind. Just double down on your ignorance.
Truth?
You offer that?
I'd rather be one who recognizes his ignorance, than one
who pontificates about his opinions being THE TRUTH.

Wouldn't you rather join the discussion than snipe from the sidelines?

No thanks. This thread reads more like a lynch mob of BLM than a discussion. If you settle down and get a bit rational, I might then join in. But not while you're having a feeding frenzy.
So you object.....
come here to insult....
join the "feeding frenzy" you refuse to join....
and claim to have the "truth".....
but deny us your keen insight?
One wonders, why bother?

Have we not seen a deterioration of the racial situation in this country since the media overpublicized BLM activism?? Even their name was intended to be provocative and divisive. And this is the result. I think it is time for the media to not overexpose this inflammatory rhetoric to the public and not try to racialize and overplay every controversial police incident. I support our police and although not perfect, I believe they do a great job that not many of us would have the guts to do!

Thank you George. Well said.

I'm not claiming to have the truth, I'm just pointing out that you don't.
Thank you.
I agree, but I neglected to point that out.
Although.....in pointing out it would be inappropriate to use the military, I think my opining just might rise to that level.
But even this is just an opinion.

You should read dailykos.com
Yes it does.
Even BlackLivesMatter isn't quite accurate. Black lives matter when they get killed by police. Otherwise, not so much.
Tom
I don't know how you got the above from the article you linked to, which pretty much says what I did but in much more detail. The BLM simply does not state that "black lives" are more important than "all lives", and this has been mentioned over and over again by their organizers. The BLM movement was borne out of a fair number of unarmed black men being killed, and then there's the side issue of them also being more apt to be stopped in the first place.

Sorry.
I didn't link to anything, I just typed the title of the blog.
Where did it take you?
"Black Lives Matter needs white bodies"?

I wonder.....
What (in the short run) could be done to ramp down the animosity & fear on so many sides?

Some blame Obama, but I find this hollow & partisan.
What could he do or say differently that might help?

The whole thing is being created. They create the news, not report it. Groups like Black Lives Matter are put there for the sole purpose of trying to get people divided. They also show the Islamic terrorists a lot on the media, but just because they get the majority of attention on the media, does not mean they are the majority.

All of this is happening because it's being created. What do we have? We have a media that's bias and controlled by some of the most powerful and tyrannical people on the planet. Why do they keep doing this? To divide and conquer. Why do that? Because it's easier to control you. They are trying to divide us so that we weaken each other and will be too distracted to know who the real enemy is.

I disagree that division is the intent.

Absolutely false, and I have no idea where you're getting this from.

Here's from their website: "We are committed to embodying and practicing justice, liberation, and peace in our engagements with one another." -- http://blacklivesmatter.com/guiding-principles/

You have misinterpreted what the BLM movement is all about, and let me just say that it does not in any way contradict "all lives matter".
No. I don't think I misinterpreted anything. I was criticizing the vibe the name gives off and it's not just me hearing that vibe. We are overwhelmingly a good and caring nation and blacks playing the mistreated victim role perpetually is widening the racial divide in this country. .

It's up to certain cops to treat all lives equally. Currently, some don't think all lives matter.

That's their website. Of course they aren't going to admit that they are a fabricated group designed to help divide america.

I am getting this because I keep seeing the same patterns over and over. What do they talk about the media? Conflict. With whites and blacks, Muslims and non-Muslims. Trying to make you think that a certain group is to blame, when it's all being fabricated. This is not a conspiracy theory, this is an old trick that has been done before, where groups and entire nations have been divided.

There is a serious divide and conquer mentality going on and this affects every single one of us. Druids, Muslims, Zoroastrians, Jews, Christians, Whites, blacks, asians ect.
