Most correct religion for mankind

I believe the best way to tell if a religion or teaching is true, is by the people who actually live it. Not the ones who claim to live it, the ones who actually live it.

Agreed. However, lets take christianity for example or Islam if you want. If someone come and say Muslims are bad because they did such and such, that would seem reasonable. But when someone says Islam is bad because Muslims do such and such, then thats not reasonable anymore.

The way you are describing it is used to know who the most correct persons are, not the most correct religion.

Okay, I think I know what you're saying. But that is why I stress the need to look at the people who actually live they're religion. That is why, even when I see crazy so called "Muslims" who do horrible things in the name of religion, I am able to separate the real message of Islam from the bad things those Muslims do. I know that Muhammad did not teach people to act that way. Same with Christians who do horrible things "in the name of God," (like blowing up abortion clinics or something).

But I do see some problems with that way of thinking. How is an observer from outside of a religion supposed to judge who is the real representative of that religion? It is hard I suppose. I think that the best way to see if a religion is true or not, is to try it out. Try following the teachings. Read the sacred texts. Study the words of their prophets etc. If they are true, you will know it.

No really, not everyone is smart But if it was "right" than we'd follow it I believe. Maybe we're all supposed to follow a different religion to bring us to fufill our purpose. And maybe the correct religion we are not supposed to know at this time in history.

100 percent agreed, thats a very very healthy approach to take.

Or maybe you're thinking of something better, something like ; none of us will go to Hell until the true religion comes in a future time of history

In my humble opinion, I guess if God sent us a religion to follow, then it would be very reasonable to think that He as a Just God, gave us the complete tools of finding the truth, like when Allah says in Quran: part of (17:36)

Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those you will be questioned (by Allah).

i.e that the tools are those three.

Even if something was sent to humanity, it would still be unjust to burn people in hell. Hell is the most evil thing imaginable. It is such a shame that so many people in our world follow religions that say God will burn people in hell, then justify their belief with a book. A book! Why not let God speak for himself? What would you say if you were standing before god one day and he told you that the terrible concept of hell was just created by men, and that he would never subject living beings to such horrible cruelty? You may truly have to give account to him one day, but I very much doubt you'll be punished at all, let alone thrown into hell. You'll probably feel really naive about believing such nonsense, and maybe that will be punishment enough.

Well 1.) I'm not assuming that this religion comes from a God, and 2.) I'm not assuming there is a hell, or heaven for that matter

That doesn't address what I said at all.

In response to your post, why do you think it will be given as credit to you for thanking and believing in something which your not even sure is real? Perhaps your devotion is more a waste of time than something of real benefit. If the gods are real, perhaps they hope that you will explore all kinds of different paths in life, including different spiritual and religious paths. This could lead you to develop a broader understanding of reality, of perspectives, something that the gods may very much approve of.

Oh, thats not what I said at all. I said 'perhaps'. As far as I know, the gods don't exist at all. Although, I hope and pray that they do, and that they are good.

It almost seems as if you are trying to run away. You havn't addressed any of my points in either of the posts. Why is that? Is it because I have presented the idea that it may in fact be you whom the gods are shaking their heads at, as opposed to your view of the infidels who are destined for the eternal fires of hell? Such a terrible idea, with no logical merit at all. A good god torturing people forever? That makes no sense at all. Either the idea is complete nonsense, or the god you believe in is an evil monster. It is worthwile to consider the matter.

I think that there is no Religion which is correct for all Human beings

We are all Individuals, with our own Experience and Abilities. Some have the will to serve, some have no Prob to be seen as Slaves, some want to be Master, some want create the own life...

My religion is the best for me, as the religions you have choosen for your self may be the best for yourself...

I can not understand why the one or the other choose a special religion, may be I don't want to understand it..

But studying the different Religions, their sacred texts and Theories, their Ideas and Limitations, I understand Why I can not choose another way than the one I found for me.

Feel free to choose what Ever you want and try to be Happy with it, as you are happy for others, that are sure about the path they have choosen for themself......

There is no Right and no wrong religion.... There is only the Individual and the path he want's to go...

There is a true religion. Why do you think you are created if it is not that you be should worship and be grateful to your creator. It is from God that we all come from and to him we shall return.

The problem is that most men are stubborn and arrogant creatures. The signs are clear for those who can see with both their eyes and their hearts. We are different from other creatures because we have freedom of choice. We need to use this freedom for good. Hence there is redemption and punishment on the day of judgement and all will be judged by their deeds.

You must be the one to make the effort to study and genuinely do your research on religion and the true message of God. Did you think that you were created without a purpose?

Islam is the religion for all. In fact we believe that Jesus , Abraham, Moses (peace be upon them) were all messengers of God . We have the Qu'ran as our guide which are the protected words of God which was sent to mankind as a mercy from God and as glad tidings to the true believer.

I don't believe in religion, but I do believe in a person, and that is Jesus Christ the Lord. With religion, you have man trying to earn his way to heaven by doing certain good works, rituals, ceremonies, etc. But with Jesus, heaven is free, no strings attached, as it says in Romans 4:4-6:

When a man works, his pay is not considered a gift. It is owed to him.
But things are different with God.
He makes evil people right with himself.
If people trust in him, their faith is accepted even though they do not work.
Their faith makes them right with God...
God makes those people right with himself.
But they don't have to do anything in return.
