1978.Probably the remake. The people looked to be dressed in normal clothing and their hair wasn't huge. What year is the original from?
1978.
Sarah Polley was the best thing about the Dawn' remake.
But that kind of removes a huge part of film history unless you're 100. If I had to pick an era I'd say the 70s were the heyday of film. I'm sure I'll change my mind 20 minutes from now though.I usually don't like movies that are older than I am. I like the old Twilight Zone episodes and Alice in Wonderland though. Those are older than I am.
White Zombie would be the first, but the zombies were Haitians under the supernatural control of Lugosi, and not undead. The first undead zombie film would be Romero's Night of the Living Dead where he and Russo introduced the ghouls as dead flesh eaters.anybody can tell the name of first zombie movie?

I feel old.Usually old movies just make me laugh. I liked The Wizard of Oz a lot when I was little. A lot of old movies have horrible special effects and the fashion makes me laugh too. The Twilight Zone is hilarious. I like how some of them are very scientifically impossible. Well, they are all about aliens and stuff, which is pretty far-fetched, but what's funny is when they say something that has sense been proven impossible. For instance, I think one time there was an alien from Venus in one of the episodes, or one of the gas planets. It was funny.
I'm 98.I don't know if I've seen any old comedies. Don't feel old. I don't know how old you are, but you don't seem too old.
I loved Drag Me to Hell. A return to old school Sam Raimi but a bit toned down violence wise. It was so much fun though.oh how did i forget to mention that awesome movie!

Yes, 1968. George Romero's classic. Avoid any colorized versions though.i like it very much. i don't know how they managed to scare me with a laughter but that was truly entertaining piece of art specially scenes in parking place...yep!
now, the oldest 'night of the living' i found is made in 1968. would that be the one?
