I love that movie, but I haven't got John to watch it yet.
We watched
Angels & Demons and
Ink this weekend, and I watched
Drowning Mona and
C.R.A.Z.Y. while John was sleeping.
Angels & Demons is schlock with good production values and lots of action. Depends what you're looking for.
Ink was weird and intriguing; I might watch that one again.
I always heard
Drowning Mona stunk, but I didn't think it was bad. Definitely not Bette Midler's best movie, but the only thing so far that's been shown to make a Bette Midler movie absolutely unwatchable is Woody Allen.
C.R.A.Z.Y. is about a gay guy of my generation growing up and dealing with his parents and four brothers in Quebec. The title comes from the names of the brothers: Christian, Raymond, Antoine, Zac, and Yvan. (Also, they keep playing Patsy Cline throughout the movie.) It's pretty good. I cringed at Zac's desperate attempts to live a straight life, but I remember living like that, too. The movie's in French, though, so I'll never get anybody I know to watch it with me.
Oh, and I started watching the third Ice Age movie, Rise of the Dinosaurs or whatever it's called, but I fell asleep about twenty minutes in.
