For the 76th time I watched Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
(DVD/Color/113 Mins./PG/ 1978).

Why?

Because it was there.

Haven't seen the last one. Liked first one. Didn't like the second.

The second is rubbish, the third is absolute pig swallop. Nice special effects, but I need more than that if I need to sit through a two and a half hour movie.

recently saw both Avatar & District 9.

it would be best to watch Avatar with the sound off (story & acting are aweful) but its one of the best looking movies ive ever seen.

District 9 has become one of my new favs, great movie

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I saw "Sherlock Holmes" this past week. I thought it was good - not great, but good, and very entertaining. Typical Guy Ritchie.

Anyone see 'Distric 9'? I somehow missed it when it came out in the cinema but have become aware of it recently, a shock as im a stereotypical guy typically into such films involving action/scifi and exteme politics.:p

Looks pretty good, was just wondering if anyone had any reviews/comments regarding it.

I just rented over the weekend. I was really impressed. I didn't know much about it before seeing it, so I was surprised how thoughtful it was.

I also saw Up. Really good movie, but not what I was expecting. A lot more emotional than I expected a cartoon that the blurb on the DVD case called "a hilarious adventure" would be. Parts were gut-bustingly funny, but some parts were really sad.

no end in sight - should be required viewing

Terminator: Salvation & Wolfhound - just to melt my brain after watching the documentary. And melt it to mindless dribbling those two films did.

I saw Sherlock Holmes too, i enjoyed it. Quite liked the style of filming, and accompany music. Not to mention his fight scenes, but i am a boy so what can you expect? :p

Hit Avatar 3d the other day too, not completely used to the 3d experience, think my eyes aged 10 years during it!

Bodhisattva in Recovery
Taken with Liam Nesson.

A great show.
Four Satanic Hampsters held up high!

In all fairness, I didn't expect it to be as good as it turned out.

i refuse to see Sherlock. other than the name, what the hell does it have to do with sherlock holmes? it'd be like making a film about ghandi and having him kung-fu the british out of india, actually that sounds kinda good, much rather see that than sherlock.
