Watched Los Cronocrímenes. Pretty smart time travel thriller all about causality. Not as cool as Primer but it's low budget is more than compensated for by its cast and smart plot. Not perfect but definitely worth renting.

Watched The Tourist, the Angelina Jolie and Johnny Depp movie, wasn't expecting much and got it, borderline dull and felt like watching a cross promotional movie sponsored jointly by the Venice tourist board and the fashion and jewelery industry.

True Grit (2010).....Grittier than the 1969 version, but whaddaya expect from Joel & Ethan?
It isn't my favorite Cohen Bros movie, but it's enjoyable & the Carter Burwell score is great change of pace for westerns.

The Human Caterpillar

This a horror flick. A really good movie until the human caterpillar is finished. Then I fast forwarded it and watched the end, which is wonderful. Definitely the freakiest and most disturbing movie I ever hope to see.

Good

Good performances by Mortensen and Isaacs. Thought the aural delusions were more of a jarring interruption in the film. Think the overall development and ending of the story will leave most people jaded but I thought it was a good construction of a man blind to what was going on around him lost in his own sense of doing what is right.

Saw TRON the other day.

Didn't think much of it.

Cute girl though, she has really really pretty eyes.

Yeah, i thought TRON was better when there was less talking, more action. If they could have removed the dialog completely it would have rocked!

Saw "Black Swan" two days later, thought that was amazing! I loved it! Aronofsky + Natalie Portman = uberawesomeness squared!:D

Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps
it was average
I intend to skip it....looks disrespectful of money, & not that interesting.
Check out The King's Speech though. We saw it with friends, one of whom
is a speech therapist (just like the hero, who saves the free world).

Yogi Bear

It was kind of excruciating because it was so predictable. But you do things because you love your kids.

hmm. interesting. i tried to find it but i could not. is this movie a new one? what's it about?

.

It's a few years old it is a shock horror movie where a demented surgeon kidnaps people and performs surgery on them so they are joined together to resemble a caterpillar. From what I can gather there is a prurient interest in the film because after the surgery the people share a digestive tract.
