Citizen Mod
Legion Of Super Heroes Season 1 (2 Disc Series)
DVD/ Color/ 89 Mins./ 2006
In the first volume of episodes from this animated DC Comics spinoff, the Legion of Superheroes travels back in time to the 21st century to recruit Superman, only to learn that he's still living as Clark Kent and has yet to embrace his superpowers. Can the crew help this yet-to-be-super young man realize his destiny and gain his help against a formidable group of villains in the 31st century?

Was never a Legion Of Super Heroes fan but this is a nice jumping on point and gives me a chance to learn about their history and characters.

SMALLVILLE: First Season (6-Disc Series)
DVD/ Color/ 922 Mins./ NR/ 2001
A young Clark Kent (Tom Welling) struggles with normal adolescent issues -- along with figuring out just how to deal with the puzzling powers he now possesses and the oddly devilish goings-on in Smallville, the tiny Kansas town where he lives. Taking up most of his time, however, is his affection for the stunning Lana Lang (Kristin Kreuk). This six-disc set contains all 21 episodes from the first season of the television series.

Upon mrscardero’s request we are starting this series from the beginning tomorrow. I have a bad feeling about this.

UltraChrist
DVD/ Color/ 92 Mins./ NR/ 2003
What would Jesus (Jonathan C. Green) do if he returned to Earth and discovered he was wildly out of touch with modern trends? Don a Spandex costume and fight sin on the streets of New York City, of course! But as always, he faces several obstacles: a disapproving Father (Don Creech); the Antichrist, in the guise of the New York City Parks Commissioner (Samuel Bruce Campbell); and the temptations of a beautiful seamstress (Celia A. Montgomery).

Le plongeur avec attitude...
You know, I saw Beowulf last night and was sorely disappointed. The faux-animation was disturbing at best. Sort of a double standard too. They had no issues showing Angelina in the buff, but they went through all sorts of "candles blocking male penis" shots that were just stupid. IF you are going to go through that much effort to keep his privates private, then just let him wear a simple loin cloth! We were laughing at all the shenanigans.
