Not bad, Miss Ashley. I might have to search for a clearer sounding version of the song. Not bad.
Nebula is the band, sorry about the quality of that one... Chris has been putting me on Stoner Rock :p

Kyuss would also fit the bill for that kind of music :)

I love this song! :)

Used to jam out to it driving around in my puttmobile, smoking cigarettes, with my friends. :D Just an all around FUN song.

Sorry, I know this deserves an eye roll because I've posted it so many times but you know, I can't help it.

I like the sincerity of this, and I'm a sucker for most folk music, but I think the melody, and his singing style tend to get a bit whiney - a lot whiney, actually. And I'm not sure why. What does the whiney delivery have to do with the subject? I mean, if he were whining about a girl, I'd understand it. As is, it just seem needlessly put on.

Mybe you'll like this a little better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zULyaA6mzV0&mode=related&search= It's sort of whiney, too.

He is whining about a girl, actually and I'd like to provide a link to the "revved" up version. Hopefully, you'll have a look see. I'm especially curious about your artistic opinion of the video. (I mean that sincerely.)

And I'll take a look at this link. I don't mind whiney.:D

I love this song, PureX. Isn't this the one from the City of Angels, Soundtrack. I'm also an Alanis fan, overall. Beautiful strings.

Oh, I like this LOTS better! This is much better. Still whiney, but it seems more natural. The photography in the video is good, but not being of the "goth" generation, all these blood and death references and stark and dark lighting and all that just seems a bit silly. But the song is good. I'm glad you posted the "updated" version.

I also liked the Nebula tune. Good old fashion rock and roll. It took me back to the olden days of my misspent youth. *smile* The recording wasn't very good, but the song was.

I can't say anything about Chevel...nice that is. LOL!

Delerium's Aria. One of my favorite electronica/dance groups. Big fat beats, great singing, lot's of ethnic world music and not repetitive....I had such a hard time picking out just one vid cause they're all so good.

i didnt see it! I'll have to go back and look, i only saw the two HIM videos:sorry1:

EDIT: yeah, i saw the other video. I'm always a fan of Chevelle, they're original in a time where everyone is TRYING to be special but aren't making the cut. Chevelle has always been able to catch my interest. I've never heard this song before!

It's the "gothic", sappy "love metal" sound that attracts their fans. They have quite a female following but then...it still rocks. Each of their albums has a very unique sound to it but it's all unmistaningly H.I.M.

Thanks for taking a look at it.

I'm quite the Chevelle fan but that's okay...not everyone can dig Chevelle & H.I.M. like I do. :)

I really enjoyed that video (Delerium) Reminds me of the Medieval Babes and in a bizarre way, Miranda Sex Garden.

Hmmm ... seemed like just more canned commercial pop, to me. I was excited at first, because I love 'world music' and thought I was going to hear something exotic. But as the song progressed, it didn't go anywhere new.

Here's some standard pop, nothing exotic, but well done and with a great message: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x19MATgW-ik
