The Curve song reminds me a lot of Blondie. Not just the sound, but the whole 'let's be mesmerized by the glitze imagery' thing. I actually kind of liked it in that it's cohesive, it knows what it is, and sticks to it's theme.

Hmmm ... seemed like just more canned commercial pop, to me. I was excited at first, because I love 'world music' and thought I was going to hear something exotic. But as the song progressed, it didn't go anywhere new.

Here's some standard pop, nothing exotic, but well done and with a great message: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x19MATgW-ik
although i really dont like the music, the song does have a good message. (not unlike any i've seen before) It was well done, but not really artistic... i dont find anything special about it

Curve is shoegazer/industrial. Their last album, Gift, had this really awesome early 90's industrial sound.
I'm really gonna look into that, i like this band :)

(mostly her voice, it's very soothing)
