Ethnicity is not at all a choice. Beliefs are - when the environment allows it.

Denial of what, exactly? What do you assume my position is?...

My girlfriend's uncle died while fighting Islamic terrorists in the Philippines. I also have a friend who's mom lives in a Muslim area in Mindanao. She has to be escorted by a male (trusted family friend) when she visits, and she has to have him speak for her, because she's afraid of what would happen to her if the people there heard her American accent.

Tell me, though; what are your ideas on how the problem of extremism should be solved (in a practical, realistic way)? There are 1.6 billion Muslims in the world, and that number will only increase (along with extremism, if nothing significant is done). =/

War is usually about wealth & power .. I mean, why should people kill each other because they believe in praying or not?
