Just thought I would share my thoughts.....

I have a lot of fun here. A lot of you all give me laughs, good conversation and sometimes a different perspective on things for me to think about.

However there are also some that are just irritating narcissists.

But with good food, **** is a byproduct.. so its all good.

I am weak. I'm usually pretty chill but some people have an ability to insult me or my intelligence that makes me violate RF rules (i.e. retaliate with some snark). Better not let it come to that. Their posts aren't worth reading anyway.

I can understand that. Some irritate me as well. I would rather take the warning or point hit than be silenced. But that's me.

I don't recall having any negative interactions with you. They have all either been lighthearted and fun or neutral and in the spirit of discussion.

I'm glad you've found RF to be such a fun experience. I feel similarly about it! (I would feel a bit insane if I stayed here for 12 years while not liking the place. )

I really like this place too. I relatively new here, but so far so good. I much prefer the plurality of viewpoints to a dialogue framed around a single outlook or ideology. And religion is one of my favorite topics. This place is awesome.

Even some of the nasty interactions can be enjoyed.
A good donnybrook can be satisfying. Or at lealst
it gets the old krovvy pumping. Aerobic posting, eh.
Still, I prefer interesting civil discourse.

Some advice to those in need....
When you recklessly accuse someone of lying, first
consider that this will reflect poorly upon you.
Honest people will think you're a ****** **** ******,
& don't intend that in the good way.

Did someone accuse you of lying, man? You always struck me as the "shoot from the hip" sort. Sometimes things get said in the heat of debate that folks don't really mean. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

You always struck me as the "shoot from the hip" sort. Sometimes things get said in the heat of debate that folks don't really mean. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Oh, no worries. But I do work up the energy
to take offense, & often spank the offender.
Then they learn that I'm a bigger jerk than
they previously thought.
